Horrible admissions staff!!!!! Never respond to messages or emails. Asked us to visit their school THREE times and told us at the end that they don't have the license to take toddlers younger than 18 months. They should have told us that at the very beginning! What a long and drawn out process with this horrible school.
They really need to work on making their admissions staff more competent and respectful of other people's time!!!

I have recently graduated from this high school and I'd like to say a few words about it to help others to get an inside look of Braemar.
I'm going to talk from my personal experience which was, overall, incredible. With Braemar's help, I've significantly improved my English skills, interpersonal skills, and gained a huge amount of knowledge. I've made myself some friends from all around the world that will last me a lifetime and got to learn interesting aspects of various different cultures.
However, choosing this school includes the number of responsibilities that a student would have to deal with. I would compare this experience to being a freshman. A student has to make many choices that will greatly affect their future life; which is not a bad thing but it's also not something a lot of people have to face at the early age. Personally, I can clearly see how being an international student for 3 years changed me.
The school is very urban and located in the heart of the city. Due to its small size, most of the staff members get to personally know most of the students and visa verse. Every single member of the guidance council is friendly and caring: a student could talk to them about any issue at any time. All of the teachers at Braemar are smart, talented, and educated (referencing one of our classes). To be honest, some of the teachers are the most interesting individuals I know and I'm very honored to have met them. I believe that a huge part of a student's learning experience depends solely on the teacher and, at Braemar, they do a great job of making it entertaining and unforgettable. For instance, during my last term there it so happened that I had to deal with a ridiculous amount of stress but I was not left behind, I got all the support I needed from the school. All in all, the crew does everything to welcome their students and make them feel at home.
The school is very active outside of the class too: some events are held (e.g. the celebrations of Halloween or Christmas) and classes frequently go on field trips. There is a Student Council that's responsible for the Funday Fridays and Talent Shows which help to relax from the stress of the everyday life. Also, In Ontario, a student needs 40 volunteer hours to graduate and Braemar provides different options, e.g. joining the Terry Fox run or helping the homeless at the Scott Mission.
I know it's quite a long post but I just wanted to help other students and their parents with their research. All in all, after my 2.5 years studying here, I would 100% recommend Braemar College to a friend. :)

Fantastic school with a great staff. Located right down they take advantage of all of the world class amenities around the school (ROM, UofT, Queen Park, etc).
The staff and administration are intentional is all their actions and the year after year improvements are continuous and well executed.
Finally, the students really do represent the school core values of: Integrity, Respect, Diligence and Involvement, RDS offers amazing academics but for me the character they develop in students is what makes them stand out.

Fantastic school that grows confident and inquisitive students in a warm and caring environment. The teachers and directors truly care - and the children are happy and hungry for knowledge. Sending our child to DMMS was the best parenting decision we have made.

We have had two kids here. Small classes and dedicated teachers make this a great and not too expensive option. We love it that they teach grammar. Teachers are good at encouraging each students growth.

I'm a student at Dragon Academy, and this has been the best educational experience I have ever had. The teachers are very helpful, engaged and they give an individualized experience. The Principal is very engaged and dedicated. I am always longing for the next day of school.
