Went in as a small group for lunch, and what a disaster. Food wise, the orange obsessed chef decided everything should come sickly sweet, served at room temperature, and decidedly off-timed. Be prepared to receive your meal at any time, instead of at the same time as your guests, and only order the fish or lamb if food poisoning is your thing. The staff here are horrendously disorganized, and the chef needs to step away from the sweet ingredients. As a bonus tip, $150 for a Canadian wine that is $20 in the lcbo is criminal. But this is fine dining, right?

Solid wood-fire oven'd pizza. Particularly if you're willing to wait for the happy hour half price version. I've tried 4 of their vegetarian options and all were delicious. Wish they had an anchovy option though! If you're looking for a reliable patio spot in the byward, Grand is definitely up there.

Brunch with my two daughters - everything was perfect, creative and delicious and we were under time pressure and they delivered with elan!!! And they do the little things well - I had the in-house vanilla yogurt with fruit and granola and it was amazing. Everything is scratch and beautifully done.

After a funeral yesterday, we decided to organise a get-together between cousins and tried to find a restaurant that would accommodate about 20 to 30 people on short notice. Not only were we welcome, but the service was excellent, polite, and patient. The food, one that you would expect from a bar and grill, was good and comforting. We had a great time and even though we took a lot of place, you made an improvised family reunion possible and unforgettable. Thank you!

Great view of Byward market. Cute little restaurant. The mussels and fish and chips were really good. I would go here again! The servers were super nice! They have a loyalty program which is great as you get free apps and gift cards pretty frequently. Haddock fish and chips are great. Cute view of the market.

This used to be a favourite of mine, but I had a really negative experience last time I was there. I was with my mom and she had a coupon that the restaurant had emailed her for her birthday and they gave us a really hard time about it. First the server told us she couldn't validate it, and then when we spoke to the manager (after having to wait 30 minutes for him to arrive) he initially told us that the discount would come out of our servers wages! He eventually gave us the discount, very begrudgingly. We were made to feel like a hassle or an inconvenience over a $15 coupon that was direct from the restaurant . I will not be returning.

Long time fan but recently things have gone down hill. Had the Buddha Satay bowl, it was not full and had barely any sauce making it very dry. Also ordered the fiesta salad and it was just the same. Wont be a customer for long if things continue like this.

The pizza is to die for! Actually everything on the menu is amazing. I eat there all the time. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast club is one of my favorites; I recommend adding smoked meat. It's definitely my favourite dish other than all the pizzas.

Best Chinese food in our area. Never been disappointed by anything on their menu. I recommend the Shanghai noodles.

We had our engagement party at El Mazaj and the service we received from Jean and his team was truly excellent. Jean was patient enough to respond to my numerous questions leading up to the event and gave us his honest opinion to help guide us in the preparations and even save money. He was organized and responded quickly which reassured us greatly. Him and his teams were also very helpful on the day of the event and his experience in planning events was most welcome given our inexperience in this field. Overall the event was a great success and we are truly thankful for the manager and staff’s help!

Please be away that if you are travelling down Montreal rd from St.-Laurent Blvd towards Orleans, that if you are at the corner of Ogilvie and Montreal rd lights that you cannot see any signage for the restaurant. The restaurant is hidden by Anytime Fitness location on the passenger side and before you see the Value Inn. Once passed by the Anytime Fitness you will then be able to see the restaurant and their signage. The building is grey trimmed in red on the outside. This restaurant has a breakfast menu as well as an array of foods other than pizzas. I ordered a salad and asked for a few ingredients to be left out, garlic bread without cheese but they have both, built my pizza with the ingredients that I wanted on. I then had a ice cream sundae and left off the caramel. For those who want to know this is a Pepsi not a Coke place. Their staff are friendly and don't be shy if you want to modify some ingredients to make the dish more suitable for your likes. Inside there is a bar set-up as with televisions, tables and booths, the washrooms are clean, parking all around the restaurant.

I liked this place. It's not great looking on the outside, or inside, but food is inexpensive, delicious and fast. Our food was delivered in less than 10 minutes, which was 3 main dishes. This was awesome because we we're hurrying to catch a train. My omelette was tasty, home fries were lightly done and yummy, French fries were a little oily, but it's French fries, so normal. My friend really liked the baked meaty pasta! Staff friendly and thanked us for the small tip we left! Overall experience was fantastic!

We decided to try Pho V and how it would measure up against our favourite place in Chinatown. We were quite impressed! We ordered the Yellow Curry and Crispy Noodles with chicken. Both were very tasty and satisfying. The dining room is comfortable, calm and well decorated. Service is friendly and efficient.

Really disappointing. I paid $40 for food that was barely more than just Okay. The hummus tasted like olive oil. The 1/2 a potato I got was disappointing. The spanikopita was squashed and falling apart.

Had been a while since my last visit, and even so, not impressed. Not so tasty and well assembled burgers that I remember.And the prices got worse also.
