This is an unusual restaurant. It has some long tables where different groups of people sit. It has an outdoor area on University Avenue where you can sit and enjoy the great weather and people watch.
It has an eclectic menu with both fried chicken and sashimi grade tuna.
The ingredients are locally sourced when possible (not the tuna).
They have a bar with a "bloody mary bar" where you can add your own ingredients (olives, onions, celery, etc). They also have a large selection of vodka's for the drinks. My favorite is "ghost pepper vodka," which has a serious hot kick.

Fun place, great food, happy atmosphere but it is a very loud place. Their homemade ginger beer is to die for. It’s just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness. I will come back just for their ginger beer!

Incredible food from the guacamole to the deserts. I was surprised at how authentic some of it seemed, and yet the flavors were so fresh and delicious. By far one of the best Mexican food experiences I've had.

One word - Delicious!!! Their bread and baked goods are made in house so you know they're fresh. The milkshakes are mixed at the counter and are always a generous proportion.

Great place for a quick lunch or takeout. Tons of fresh salads and entrees and different flavored lemonade that they make on site. I had the blood orange lemonade which was delicious. Highly recommend!

My husband took me here for Mothers day brunch and it is wonderful! The food was fresh, delicious and nicely presented. The staff were all cheerful and helpful. We had a great time and a well stuffed tummy. Valet parking is included too!

This is the first time I have stepped into this Asian Box in Palo Alto or ever and I have to say this place is awesome! They greet every guest, the environment is very welcoming, and they are very helpful for you new comers. Plus the food tastes good!!! I was hungry and very glad I came here, no disappointment here.

URBN El Cajon is just wonderful. It's such a nice dining space (very industrial, open space that just feels good to be inside), friendly staff, and awesome pizza! I understand that they brew beer onsite as well, but I've not had any, yet. Yeah if you live in East County, like pizza, you owe it to yourself to at least try them once.
