Roofing

Have been waiting two weeks after many promises to visit the site for a quotation. After the first week passed with no contact, I called again to listen to many excuses and then they asked for names, numbers, addresses and contacts again. It is now two weeks and still no contact. I am very reluctant to use this company if this is the kind of service they offer before a contract is signed.

Horrible, rude and arogent. If whoever contacted me was going to be my boss, no luck there bud.

Abbot Roofing (Vexillum Inc.) replaced our roof this summer and we had a very positive experience working with them. Our home inspector recommended Abbot to us, but we did our research as well. Besides the excellent reviews on HomeStars, BBB and Google, Abbot was mentioned a couple of times in a forum thread discussing reliable local roofing contractors. Kurtis (the company’s President) responded promptly to all our enquiry emails and showed great patience to our layman’s questions. Because our interior renovation was running late, we had to postpone the start date of the roofing project to the middle of July, which is the busiest time of the year for most roofing companies. Actually we were prepared for a one or two weeks delay, but their crews appeared on the day we had scheduled and completed the work efficiently. We were also very happy with the clean work site. Professional communication, reasonable price, and outstanding services _ we have no hesitation to use Abbott Roofing again and to recommend it to friends and family.

The owner of Bendelow Building (Ryan Bendelow) made sure I got exactly what I wanted. We spoke at lenght about upgrades to the job that I wanted and he made sure I got the correct color shingles, trim and ridge vents. Ryan made sure I was very happy with the quality of the roofing job before he left. His crew cleaned up at the end of the day and were very nice to talk to. Ryan also went the extra mile by removing some plywood from the roof (at no extra charge) to inspect some suspicious areas I had reported to him. Crooks who put the wrong colour shingles on my 72 year old mother's house and are bullying her into accepting it. They won't win but she shouldn't have to fight for what she asked for.

I conducted a lot of research and interviewed several roofing companies prior to committing to anyone for my 4200 sq/foot job. I have had serious problems with ice dams over the past few years and was just starting to get a leak in my front hallway. A friend encouraged me to call Worry Free Roofing to come out and take a look and I’m sure glad I did. Serge gave me valuable insight in how the roofing system worked and a heads up that more than likely we would have to replace the roof decking in that area as it felt really soft. Sure enough when the guys removed the shingles the decking was rotten so they replaced it all for me and provided pictures to show their work. Very satisfied with the detail-oriented crew that didn’t cut any corners.
