Working with Dan Deschenes of Medici Studios was absolutely wonderful from the get-go!! He was always thoughtful, thorough, and positive in our communications, from the moment we began contacting him with interest for our Engagement/Love Story video through to our wedding nearly a year later. He was originally recommended to us by our photographer, Jenny GG, and boy are we SO thankful for that recommendation! Our photographer, videographer, AND our officiant had all worked together numerous times before, and so it was a smooth-sailing and fun experience to have the “dream team” back together again for our wedding. :) With the help of his brother Michael, Dan filmed the entirety of our wedding in a smooth and unobtrusive way. There was nothing clunky or awkward having them there, which I’ve heard can be a concern when having both photography and videography in a not-overly-huge wedding venue; but honestly, they did such a great job of blending in with everyone that we hardly noticed them there; we could concentrate on each other and our family and friends, and just enjoy the experience of our wedding day in full. When the time did come to film something specific, Dan’s manner was so relaxed and fun that we always felt immediately at ease. There was a lot of laughter and happiness that day :) He also gave us the raw footage of our entire wedding, which my husband & I plan to watch together many years down the road when we want to take a trip down memory lane. All of Dan’s videos show a common theme of integrity and attention to detail; he works tirelessly to make your film a true work of art! But the thing that sticks out to me most is his ability to cut through to the truth of each couple he films, from the intimate moments captured between the couple, to the touching expressions on family members’ faces that would otherwise have been missed, to the perfectly spot-on music he carefully selects during the editing process (always with the couple’s input!). As such, every film of his is as different and as unique as the couple it was made for. Watch any of his films and you will feel it, guaranteed. We love to watch all the new videos he has been coming out with since our wedding, too, especially with his fancy new quad-copter that catches the most incredible aerial shots! We still watch our wedding video periodically, and it continues to bring smiles to our faces and tears to our eyes. Our wedding video is one of our most treasured belongings and one of the purest forms of memory for the beginning of our married life together, and we can’t thank Medici Studios enough for that gift.

Dani was absolutely amazing. My husband and I could not be any happier with the outcome of the wedding videos Dani created for us. Since our first emails exchanged with each other, Dani has been nothing short of incredibly helpful. She helped us make sure we had a wedding videographer package that was both what we wanted and the right budget for us. As a same sex couple as well, Dani has made us feel nothing but absolutely comfortable the entire way through. Since I was coordinating our own wedding too, Dani was so helpful in offering to show up to our rehearsal dinner to give us some pointers on blocking and the choreography of it all! Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts we weren't able to do this, but it was very nice of her to offer to do so! On the day of, she worked great together with our photographer to capture all the wonderful moments. Since we booked her for a shorter time period, she even reminded us that we still needed to do our first dance so she could capture that too! We didn't have to wait too long for our video since we got married pretty early in the season, and she captured our wedding so beautifully. We were amazed by the how great she made everything look, and so happy with the wonderful music selection she chose to go with it. Another great note, when we showed this video to our family and friends, they didn't even know that we had a videographer there (let alone that there were two of them)! Dani was so great in capturing the moments naturally that she blended right in with our crowd! With how expensive weddings could get, we originally weren't sure whether we wanted to have a videographer there, give cameras to multiple people to capture the moments, or just go without it all together. Words cannot describe how happy we are with how everything turned out, and it is no surprise why Pixel Dust Weddings has won so many awards. Just watch one or two of the videos on her webpage, and you'll fall right in love with her just like we did.

My (now) husband insisted that we hired a videographer in addition to the photographer, and I couldn't be happier that he did. Reid is a consummate professional. We love our photographs, but we love the video even more. I got really choked up during the vows, and half the people attending couldn't hear me. Reid had 2 microphones capturing the vows, and they came out crystal clear. He was super helpful on the day of, he helped my brother in law with setting up the sound system, and was really friendly and upbeat. He was running around getting shot after shot, so we get to see tons of interactions between guests at our wedding that we were too busy to be part of. It was great to see our grandparents interacting for the first time, and our friends from opposite sides of the country hanging out at chatting. Having the video is kinda like getting to go to the wedding for a second time, but this time as a guest, were you just get to kick back and relax. His 7 minute highlights video is perfect, and unlike all the photographers we interviewed, with Reid, you get the raw footage too if you want it. There were some really funny and sweet moments between me and my hubby, that our photographer either didn't capture, or chose not to include in the final pictures that we got from her. The video is very high quality, so we can enjoy the video, or take moments from the video and get many new pictures from screen captures. From the initial interview, through the follow up emails, to the event, to the finished product; Reid has been very thorough, thoughtful, conscientious, up-beat, communicative, and professional. We couldn't be happier, and we also couldn't recommend more strongly that you work with him. Let Reid's videos be the magic carpet that transports you back to your wedding day, so you can relive your favorite moments, and experience it in ways that you didn't get to the first time. There are a million little details that you have to take care of for your wedding. Hire Reid, and have that number drop by thousands.

My wife and I could not have been more pleased in the experience we had working with Mitch. From day 1 of booking through getting the final product, Mitch was a genuine pleasure to work with. My wife is a photographer and he was open and happy to talk with her multiple times before the wedding to discuss her vision and apply it to his work. He was upbeat, kind, and only an asset to the wedding experience. His final product - our 8-minute video - captured the day so perfectly and is something we will cherish forever. We would highly recommend Mitch to anybody in the PNW considering a videographer.

It's my favorite place to be

Dave and Jennah Park were the dream team when it came to capturing our wedding. They made sure to capture all of our special moments throughout the day in a completely non-invasive manner (many of our wedding guests noted that they didn't even notice them floating around capturing our intimate wedding ceremony!), and put them together in the dreamiest of compilations. Seriously, it blew our minds. Having the video is so valuable; getting to relive that special day almost always brings us to tears.

We hosted a large family and friends reunion in Whistler, after getting married a year ago, to help everyone get to know each other. Coast Mountain Photography, and Chris Starck specifically, were amazing to deal with. We wanted a photographer who could capture the hidden emotions from everyone attending. To not only capture great portrait style photos, but to almost be hidden in the background and capture magical intense emotions of joy that people expressed naturally. When he sent us the pictures, we couldn’t believe how well he achieved this. Our event was a huge success due to many amazing people and companies in Whistler who helped us.
