I had my eye on Carrie & Chris after seeing a Facebook friend’s wedding teaser video. When we started planning our July wedding in November I was super excited to find out they were available. One of the biggest things we heard from all of our married friends who did not hire in videographers was, “I wish we had gotten video.” Knowing that the day goes by so fast, and there’s so much happening that you don’t even notice, hiring Reel Love was a huge priority to me. I think sometimes the expense of video can scare people away… to me, having Carrie & Chris there for our wedding was not only one of the best INVESTMENTS of the entire day, but it will be one of only two we get to cherish forever. (The other being photography) Carrie & Chris are seriously SO FUN! Having them there on the day made me feel like I had this whole posse of people making sure the necessities were captured and allowed me to just be fully present with my guests. I wasn’t obsessing over whether someone was getting this or that on their phone because I knew Reel Love was somewhere capturing everything that needed to be captured. They encouraged us to make the day ours, and just do our thing while they did theirs. I know for sure that investing in Reel Love was without a doubt one of our best decisions for our wedding and I would do it over and over again. Thank you sooo much Carrie & Chris, I could not imagine our day without you. You are true pros! We appreciate you.

Nice place for events. Good italian food

Cindy (the owner) is super helpful and she has an excellent selection of dresses for brides, mother of the brides and guests. Her jewelry selection is amazing and reasonably priced. We had been to countless stores looking for a mother of the bride dress for my Mom when I overheard someone talking about this bridal shop in Port Perry. Cindy was a godsend. She was patient and helped my Mom and Aunts all find the perfect dresses. I would highly recommend Cindy and her shop to anyone looking for a dress whether it be for a wedding or special occasion!!

Lisa & Justin were absolutely phenomenal and well exceeded our VERY high expectations. Their photography style is exactly what we were looking for both our engagement and wedding day. A real gem in the wedding photography industry in my humble opinion. They were highly professional yet had infectious smiles on their faces all day, worked efficiently, and made us feel so comfortable on what is typically a very stressful day for most couples. You can tell right away that they have years of experience under their belt. They are so creative and can conjure up images that I didn't think possible. I can't thank them enough for really capturing the essence of who we are as a couple on our wedding day. They made us feel at ease and we are SO happy and beyond satisfied with the final product. We can't recommend them enough!!!

Jenny Blair was our photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding. She was phenomenal, and went above and beyond at every step of the way. Our photos look fantastic, both in print and in digital format. She was very flexible and accommodating in terms of scheduling, and always very professional. In the time leading up to our wedding, Jenny really took the time to get to know us and understand our vision for the day. She went through the plan for the day in detail with us, and made sure she had a list of key people and moments to capture. We were very impressed by her attention to detail and professionalism. On our wedding day, we had a great time hanging out with Jenny and her second shooter. They are both so lovely and charming! They were easy going and fun, but also kept us on schedule. We had multiple comments from our guests about how they loved Jenny and had great interactions with her. She really made a great impression on our family and friends. We received our photos quite quickly following our wedding – much faster than any other couple we know. The photos were beautiful, creative, and exactly what we had wanted. They came in a beautiful package, which made it feel even more special. When we had questions about printing our photos, she even called the printer on our behalf to troubleshoot and make sure the final product was perfect. We were so impressed by her dedication. Thank you Jenny for the amazing photos, the memories, and for being so awesome! You are such a talented artist and amazing person.

Carmens Banquet and their staff were a pleasure to work with! Nick and Laura went above and beyond to meet our needs for our big day. The decor is modern and have a lot to choose from. They allowed us to bring our own caterer and use the kitchen. Nick was there the entire night to make sure everything was going as planned and we appreciated his attention to detail. Thank you so much!!

Hats off to Lisa for her incredible artistic talents and her fine attention to detail when planning and carrying out the decor for my daughter's wedding at Crosswinds Golf and Country Club. We met with Lisa in April and she was very receptive to all of our ideas and wishes. In her store, she has a good variety of products to choose from and she is most willing to order in additional items if requested. At a very reasonable cost, she was able to secure the beautiful vases for our centrepieces and matching ones for our succulent wedding favours. The outdoor decor for the ceremony was outstanding! The white gauze and bows on the arbour and bridge were whimsical and elegant. Inside the Great Hall, Lisa took her time and decorated with care each chair and table. The white linens with the Tiffany blue sahes attached with jewelled broaches were absolutely gorgeous! The head table was stunning with the tasteful mini lights and translucent table coverings. She also decorated an adorable matching cake table. As well, Lisa provided all the signage and the seating plan. All signage was tastefully done and displayed in beautiful antique frames. We didn't have to worry about clean up as Lisa returned on Sunday morning and took care of everything! I can't say enough about the exceptional decor provided by Signatures Weddings by Lisa.
