Fantastic opportunity to attend a Rhone En Primeur Tasting. We really appreciate the chance to try various wines from the region.

We drank the Bacchus and the English Rosé which were great. The food comes up as sharing plates and everything was delicious. We even got a tour of the wine making equipment by Gavin who answered all of our slightly tipsy questions about wine making!

Stepping inside this charming wine shop in Warwick Avenue, aptly called The Winery is like experiencing a time warp. Using the same shelves to house their wine as it did when it was a pharmacy over a hundred years ago, this place stocks some of the most niche wines money can buy (starting from £9), not to mention playing host to free monthly tastings which go down a storm. We recommend signing up to the mailing list as the events are only publicised one to two days before to avoid over-crowding. From 5pm you’ll get to try and talk about seven new wines and expand your oenology horizons. What a lovely wine bar! Hidden on a tiny street in bethnal green, this place offers amazing wines - both their own and a seection of others. As a group of 4, we all tried different ones and all of them were unique - personally renegade chardonnay 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Laid back setup, good music volume - finally somewhere you can have a proper chat with friends without shouting, not overcrowded yet lively, and a dog who comes out of the counter when someone brings food :) what else can i ask for! My only comment would be for the benches, which didnt feel sturdy. Cant wait to go back!

I'm a big fan of this place. They keep a large stock of interesting wines and are knowledgeable and happy to take time to help you choose without being condescending. Food is OK but on the expensive side.

Staff were helpful, however when it came to payment they said the receipt machine wasn't working. I waited for them to fiddle with the machine until eventually I got the receipt and went home. On inspection of the receipt I noticed I have been charged for a different bottle to what I had bought, a more expensive bottle of course. I imagine this is some kind of scam, not impressed. If you go I recommend double checking the receipt matches the bottles you bought.

I don’t think I will be buying a bottle for £48k anytime soon. Better stick to the other stuff at £7.50 for
