1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL with 64,000 miles on it. My mom was an older lady and only drove it once or maybe twice a week, so the gaskets were pretty stiff. Our very trustworthy and wonderful mechanic said that it had a blown head gasket, proven to himself by putting a tracer ink in the radiator and seeing the antifreeze and oil coming out from everywhere. He would fix it for a paltry $500.00 instead of some of the other estimates I read about on line, such as $1600.00 I came across Blue Devil Head Gasket repair and found a quart costs around $65.00 at NAPA. Most of the reviews were very good so we gave it a try. I bought 3 gallons of anti-freeze, one new thermostat, and the quart of BD Head Gasket Sealer for around $115.00 or a bit more, total. My mechanic followed the instructions to a 'T', did EVERYTHING as directed on the bottle, flushing the system, using half the bottle, as per the car's coolant capacity, letting it run for 50 minutes, then putting in the new thermostat, etc. It took two days to fully work and now there is NO antifreeze on my carport floor, and only 2 quarter sized dots of oil, so obviously it's working. I will update as the month wears on and let you all know how it's doing. For BD Head Gasket Repair, 5 stars and a thumbs up!

This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with many. They will not answer the phone or return a call. Would NOT recommend this company. CM

Iv taken 2 different cars there with different problems, both times they have taken them in very quickly and diagnosed the problems and had them fixed the same day. I will definitely be taking my cars here in the future.

Fast and friendly

It was a stormy Saturday morning as we headed home from our vacation to NC. Our RV loaded with 4 adults, 4 children and a dog when our started to skip and sputter. We pulled off in Murrell's Inlet where we lost all power and we were stuck in a thunderstorm. We called "Quest" our RV roadside assistance. They offered to dispatch a tow truck if we could find a place to tow the RV. Well, Sat in this area of SC most of the Ford dealerships were closed or closing and no one was open on Sunday. We were referred by a local Ford dealer and Joe ( our limo driver who transported us to the Hotel) to call HUGHS Automotive and RV repairs. They were able to get the part overnighted and installed by Monday ! The service was outstanding John drove my husband back to our hotel that SAT afternoon and delivered our RV to us "ready to go" on Monday afternoon. The business is friendly,honest and incredible reasonable with their billing. The Hugh's automotive & RV service, IAN and JOHN turned our bad luck into a great experience. Thank you !!

A complete slam dunk! The receptionist is very willing to help and sweet. The owner is very hands on and treats you like family. Not like most mechanic shops, there prices are good and don't try to up sell you on everything. Would highly recommend!!!

Do not do business with this individual. He did nothing but waste my time (which he calls “labor” and amounted to him leaving for an hour for a gallon of anti-freeze, which he DID manage to splash some of into the tank mouth when he finally returned) and refer me to a legitimate Truck service (THAT HAD TERMINATED HIS EMPLOMENT due to his incompetence), and he attempted to charge me $180 for his services. I say “attempted” because he had me over a barrel at the time but I will be successful at disputing the charge with my cc company. Spend it quick, boy! Maybe you stole my cc info? Yup, spend it quick!! The crew at the REAL Truck service center know all about him! Kinda ironic this nut-brain refers them the business, me thinks. Lesson learned: don’t drink diesel fuel, kids!

Traveling to Myrtle Beach, we had a break down. The leaf spring on our 5th wheel camper broke. This business showed as the closest RV repair place. We contacted them. We were asked to text several pictures of what was broken. This was on a Thursday around noon. We were told it would be Friday, maybe Saturday before they could get the part. The cost was quoted as $1350 and we were told they would require a $900 deposit for parts. We were only 3 hours from home and knew someone with a trailer business. Our connection had the part ($40) and drove it to our location and repaired the camper in a total time of 4.5 hours (3 to drive to us and 1.5 to fix it). It's obvious this business prays on travelers who would have no other repair options and be forced to pay the quoted repair price and would know no difference. This is price gouging at its best. Pathetic business practice. Steer clear!

They are Awesome!!! Very friendly, respectful and will get your car fixed without charging you crazy high prices. This is the only place I trust with working on my car!
