Basketball

Bobby teaches the game the right way. There aren't thousands of cones, speed ladders and two balls, youtube drills, he is teaching the game and breaks down every detail of it: learning the fundamentals, no over dribbling, always hit the open player etc, correcting every mistake on the spot. He tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear, expect tough love and honesty and being pushed through the whole session.

Great park. There's a skate park. A water area for kids. Lots of picnic tables and grass. Very nice place for all kinds of people. Love this small park.

We usually had a good time in this Y. My biggest issue is that when we are playing badminton during the scheduled hours, we are constantly disturbed by people who are playing basketball at the back. The basketball hit our back or bounce anywhere on the court. Everytime we have to ask the people to stop playing basketball until their scheduled hours. There must to a better way to share the gym without interfering other people to enjoy their sport. I hope Y can improvement on regulating and respecting the schedule for the shared gym.

Toronto sports and social club (TSSC) is a great place to work. Head office staff are welcoming to all staff and members. If you are an adult that not like playing in a real competitive league this is a great place to go to. Always have fun playin and meeting all sorts of people. TSSC helps me grow my confidence and social beside the sports aspect

We had a presentation at our school today. Sean told us his story which gripped both staff and students alike. You could hear a pin drop in the gym even though there was close to 350 people in there! Seans story, message, and positive outlook on life is truly inspiring. We all thoroughly enjoyed the games of wheelchair basketball too. There simply aren't enough adjectives for me to describe how wonderful this presentation was and what great things we all learned from it. I highly recommend this presentation for everyone.... it will not disappoint!
