Moved to Richmond a couple years ago... it took me a year to find these ladies but they are the VERY best and incredibly awesome people! Just love them... they treat people so well!

It was such a bad experience and I'll never visit again. The first visit was okay despite that one of the Indian ladies was kind of rude and impatient. I spent $35 on the service (foot nails) as $30 for the full service and extra $5 for upgrading it to Shellac, which is a kind of polish that would last longer. So the second time I went without double checking the price before I did the service. I did exact the same service with exact the same colour, and the owner asked me for $60, $50 for the Shellac and $10 for removing of the previous colour. I understand that they charge me extra $10 for the removal, but when I asked about the Shellac, the owner told me that they have never changed the price. Then WHAT DID I SPEND THE $35 ON THE LAST TIME I CAME? PLUS, the service was soooo unpleasant the second time. That Indian lady (the same one as the first time) rubbed my feet so hard that three parts of the skin on my right foot was damaged, and when I tried to talk to that lady she seemed to be very impatient and unhappy. Overall, if you are considering visiting, double check the price with them before visiting, and also be careful while choosing the service in order not to make yourself being hurt...

I have been getting my high lights and cut there for 5 years now Theresa the owner is wonderful and economical a true gem of the west side .

The owner of the salon is really nice but she royally messed my hair up. I specifically showed her a picture of an ombré I wanted and asked if she could do it and she said yes. It took her 5 minutes to literally SLAP on fools with ONE colour (didn't blend it at ALL), and my hair turned out horrid. It looked like I literally dipped my hair in bleach. I told her to fix it right away but all she did was dye it back darker. My hair still looks like I dipped it in bleach and she STILL charged me 75$. She told me to come back for her to fix it the next week but I lost my trust and will not be going back there again. Now I have to spend $200 to get it fixed by a professional. The owner of Alpha and Omega (Pam) has the title "colour specialist" on her business card and I definitely think she needs more experience in techniques for modern styles.

I guess it really depends who you get. I went there for makeup and hair but the makeup was so awful. That girl was awful, I looked 20 years older. Hair stylist was okay, except they didn't work with one another so I looked another 10 years older. Depends who your stylist I guess. But I paid like 75 bucks so I didn't think it was worth it at all. Can't treat customers as your test objects...there goes my money

Great staff and warm atmosphere! The eyebrow threading service is the best I've had! I love how there are a vast range of services, allowing me to get a complete spa experience :)

Great services and stylists. Would definately recommend Anthony the stylist and Wendy the colorist. Friendly staff and very comfortable environment. 5 months update: I have seen Anthony every 2 weeks for the past 5 months. This is the first time I've experienced a hairstylist who is willing to work with me on experimenting with new styles to the degree Anthony has. Everyone is so friendly and happy that the salon feels like a family.
