happen to be in the area and walked in to see if they can fit my mothers for pedicure. The staff was very pleasant and polite. My mother was pleased and was surprised by all details and large variety of colours available.

Janice is the best hairdresser i have ever had. Supremely talented, witty, intelligent and very dependable.

I've been having Nicole do my hair, since I saw one of her other clients hair and tracked her down to do mine! She's really creative and works with my style inspiration to give me exciting new looks every time. Also she's great at helping me keep to a budget. Long multicoloured hair can be crazy pricy!! But not unaffordable with Nicole!

I love how you can book online! Jessa brought my hair back to life, and it's located in an area downtown where you can actually find parking!

My first and last experience. Walked in and stood at the door for couple mins. They looked at me but no greetings and acknowledgement. I asked is it walk in or appointments. They said not possible right away. I asked to book an appointment next day, they replied the same "sorry, we are busy". I politely asked any available appointment in the coming week? ...without letting me finish my statement they said "no sorry, not possible". Made me feel like they were not ready to listen. I don't know what can be the reason but was expecting little professionalism in dealing with customers.

I got my hair coloured by Marlee and I love it. I have thick hair and went in with brassy ends and grown out roots and she gave me the rooty, golden blonde highlights and balayage I wanted. She did an amazing job, taking her time to get my hair as light as it could go in one appt while keeping it healthy. The highlights and babylights are beautiful and the lightness far exceeded my expectations. I have been getting compliments from everyone (including my mom - and we all know moms don't shy from giving their true opinion lol!). I have been to way pricier places in Victoria which haven't been worth the price; I'm definitely going back to Marlee! -Anu

The Paul Da Costa Aveda Institute is in fact, the only Institute in Canada that offers students the opportunity to study both the Cosmetology program (hair styling) and the Esthiology program (spa practice). This is an asset for customers, who can receive their services from either a seasoned professional or a supervised, skilled, student. I have found that the students provide excellent services for a reduced price. The professional stylists, needless to say, provide excellent services.

Hate my haircut! It's like she cut off my bottom layer to meet the next one. Asked for it not to be blunt only to have it cut blunt then have choppy ends. My hair looks like a triangle the ends are heavy and puffy and the top is weighed down. I will not be coming back. Going to go somewhere else to fix it because I don't trust them.

Had a mani/pedi today with Taylor and Jade! What beautiful spirits, we had such a wonderful time! Our nails look beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves with the ladies and Monica! They really made us feel special and the amazing tea was icing on the cake ! The location is beautifully decorated and very, very clean! Instantly transported into tranquility, a very nice break for a busy mom. We will deffinetly be coming back, maybe for a wax as well!

Salon looks great inside, but I am not happy with my hair after all. I was asking to bring my root color down, but I was left with darker roots and unchanged bottom. Nothing much of change after all. The lady that finished my hair was rushing a lot and could be more careful.
