I’ve been a valued customer at this location and a beachwaver curling iron (which is basically a curling iron with unnecessary bells and whistles) i purchased from alameda ultra stopped working. I had only used it about a dozen times. I tried to return and was told they only had record of my transactions up to 60 days and couldn’t help me. It’s too bad she couldn’t see all the transactions I’ve made over the last 6 months because it was significant and my business is going elsewhere now. You need to stand behind your products.

I'm that nightmare salon customer: I want my hair aggressively short and I say to "just make it look good." I don't bring reference photos. Look, you're the one who went to beauty school, I figure you should know. Anyway, Sonny was the first stylist I went to who didn't flinch or start sweating at my (lack of) instruction. He just cut my hair and charged me a reasonable amount of money. I've been going to him ever since, eight years or so now.

They cut my hair too short. I didn't want it short but they did it anyway. And when I showed my displeasure the stylist sort of explained it away by saying "oh you look better with short hair". Though I am giving three stars because it's about the haircut I would expect for 7 dollars.
