After trying several barbers in the area, I found Sam at Best Cuts. She always cuts just the way I ask and is wonderfully gentle. I always leave with a great haircut.

Rosie and Rachel have given me many perfect haircuts.and I mean perfect. Rosie specializes in highlights and lowlights. Best ever!

Elizabeth has been doing my hair for 15 years stylish cuts and beautiful color, thank you Elizabeth!

Mina did my hair last minute and did an amazing job!! Great place, and great prices. I love my hair!!

This beauty salon was a great place. When Anita /Twain as some ppl know her, it was a pleasant place to bring your elderly clients. However when the other lady bought the salon it wasn’t the same. I smoked a cigarette outside and 15 minutes later I came back in to use the restroom. Then I went back outside to wait for my client, when Anita approached me, she told me the owner would appreciate me not Smoking in here bathroom because she is allergic to the smoke! So in the middle of the shop (mind you 3-4 clients in the shop) i explained to Anita that I would never smoke in a building,let alone a business bathroom and besides that it would be hella disrespectful and rude! I was hella offended being I bring my client every week. So when I return the following week. The owner put a hand written sign in the bathroom “ No smoking” ! It really bugs me that I have to come here still and I really wanted to confront her (the new owner) but I didn’t due to the work I do and this is my clients beauty salon for over 40 year! If it was up to me I would’ve have taken her business else where! So now she every time I came there she does this fake cough. So my advice is if you smoke don’t come here for any services.

Tiffany is great, she gives student discount and still gives you salon quality cut...

I was googling hair places in Humboldt County because I have yet to go back to the same place after 2 years of living here, and have had really bad luck with a few places I've gone to. After reading the other post, I made an appointment with Rachel. And I have to agree with everything the other lady said and then some! Rachel was super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away, of course it could've been the glass of red wine she served me (instead of the usual water or tea.. nice!) The head massage I got was seriously fantastic. I have really curly hair and Rachel gave me a very complimentary cut that looks good straight or curly which is hard to find. My hair felt so soft and looked great after. Overall was a great experience, very enjoyable atmosphere in the salon and I'm so happy with what I paid for. I'm glad I finally found my regular place! I'd recommend her to anyone.

They are so accommodating and have always done a fantastic job with my hair!! My stylist is Julia and I'm obsessed!

Lana is awesome & has a wonderful personality. Downer of this shop is that it's a small business so....I recently was told by Lana herself that the Biolage Sugar Shine Shampoo & Conditioner set was good and effective. This product was not effective and the conditioner smells like cow manure 😞 I paid 31.50 for this product that I'm not happy or satisfied with it at all 😒 and I'm stuck with it because of the fact that the shop is a small business and cannot do an exchange or get refunded....Ladies and Gents...just a tip... Smell the product before you purchase it. Lesson learned for me. I don't even know what to do with the shampoo & conditioner but to trash it. 😣 money down the drain 😒😥

Went in was quick and easy on time appointment. Highly satisfied with the style she gave me as I told her to just do what she thought was best

The salon is super clean. The staff is amazing! Angie made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job with my facial. I will definitely return for another!
