I came out with fabulous hair and the stylist was really nice . My hair is now healthy and shiny ( 4d afro type of hair ) and the price was less than expected for a hair salon in Covent Garden

Local life (hair) saving hair salon 5 mins from from my home in Balham! West End hair but not West End prices! Staff take good care, friendly atmosphere, wine if you want it; what's not to love! And then there's the fantastic Steve who does me; thanks for always making me look and feel better! Robin O x

I’ll give it three stars because it’s nice that they have a hairdresser service at the hospital available for patients. The hairdresser didn’t know what a skin fade was unfortunately, and so the end result wasn’t worth the money paid. But it did the job for the time, keeping my hair under control after having been hospitalised for months.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. They didn't do what I asked, they charged me with a huge amount of money different from the price list, they didn't apply the discount offer I booked with. In the end, when I contacted them to fix my roots at least or refund me the discount, they didn't accept. I have to live the next 6 months with this terrible hair and be traumatized and unhappy because of them. I don't have more money to go and fix it elsewhere. I do not recommend this place, they don't care if the customer is unhappy at the end. The hairdresser even didn't want to hear my complaint and was rude to me. I was frightened and emotional and I couldn't react at this moment. I paid because I didn't want to make theater and I believed that they will help me somehow. But even after long emails, they refused to fix what they have done.

Massimo has been cutting my hair regularly for almost 4 years. He is an excellent stylist, gives a great cut that is always complimented by others and takes genuine care in making sure the style is the right one for your hair and your lifestyle. I am constantly recommending him and wouldn't think of having my hair cut anywhere else.

I love this place and Lissie is so kind, she kept my buzzcut looking sharp during my term in london. the prices are great too, not to mention lower marsh is a fun area to visit

I love this salon! Moving to London 5 years ago, I was in desperate need of someone to ten to my thick, frizzy hair and searching for a new salon was always a daunting task. I have been so lucky to find Rush Ludgate; amazing friendly staff, immaculately clean facilities and always a great offer to take advantage of. Now the star of the show is Jake who has had the patience of a saint cutting and colouring my hair whilst I’ve had the privilege of being a client here. Each appointment is a consultantion, we chat about what I want and (unlike all other salons I’ve been too) that’s exactly what I get! Not once have I been bullied into a block fringe or looked at a pile of hair on the floor in despair when I’ve asked for ‘just a trim’. Phew! I’m always complimented on the good condition my hair is in despite having it coloured and being a bit of a fiend the straighteners. Thanks for turning this frizzbomb into luscious locks - you guys are stars!

Amazing salon. Francesco has been my hairdresser for 4 years now and I have followed him to Holborn Rush. The salon is big and spacious (always good music and attentive on getting you a drink and magazine etc) and the staff are really friendly. I always leave the salon feeling great and with my hair looking amazing. Francesco is an excellent colourist and always gives you his honest opinion on what would suit you. Hes made the transition for me from black to bronde effortless and I'm always getting compliments on my hair. A true master and leader of the Rush Holborn Salon!

I’ve been here a couple of time and had my hair done by Ellie, she is amazing, her highlights are the best and turned out just the way, I wanted them to. Also, I got my nails done by Ellie and she has a wide range of beautiful colours and they lasted very long for shellac nails. Brilliant service and I will be returning.

They cut my daughters fringe. It was pricey at £15 and cut it too short.
