Camp

Stayed 1 night as we passed through the area (July 4/18). The good: some lovely sites along the shore of Lake Temiskaming; 30 amp + water serivce; dump station; good comfort station with showers, excellent water pressure; small sandy beach with shallow water; small open grassy area by beach; docks and boat launch; close to town; good cell reception; quiet; very friendly and efficient staff person. The less good: very expensive ($50 + tax) given the regional rates, the absence of WiFi, and the absence of a good children's playground. I would stay again as an "overnight", but WiFi is important and price is high (compared to other campgrounds).

Great campsite. There are two sides of this campground. If you want to be more on the nature side, and a bit away from people, the west side is the site to be at. Has all the basic amenities a state run campground has. Clean showers, nice fields, etc. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Been here 3 times, in presidents cabin (spring 2017), gate cottage (fall 2017) and kirkwood (winter 2018). Couldnt be happier with every stay ive had. Tim is a great guy, very helpful and informative. There is plenty of stuff to do on camp and off near by.

Super Week-End au Camping Dicaire pour la St-Jean! Endroit calme et très sympathique, nous avons loué une roulotte et une chaloupe-moteur pour explorer les 2 lacs du site ainsi que leurs nombreuses Îles. Il y a une chute à proximité (Chute des Castors) et cette région mérite d'être plus connue pour les amoureux de la nature.

Very nice people good rest spot for ice cream break

Old and dated, very nice people all around from the owners to the campers. Mostly year round campers. Very nice small river on the grounds. Hopefully the will upgrade the installation because it's a very nice and quiet place to relax, and we appreciated that. Don't go there to party, it's a place to relax.
