Great quiet campground on Georgian Bay. Small and quiet but friendly staff and easy going environment. Pretty cost friendly too.

Best management very accommodating clean place

I missed the most incredible picture of a sunset but the place was beautiful and fun to explore on our small boat. If you are camping look at the map as we felt we were a little far away from the washrooms. The campsites vary in privacy and tree cover so also look at the photos if this concerns you. My aunt and uncles site was covered in mulberries so it would have been a mess if they had been renting. It wasn’t full when we were there and no one seemed too rowdy at night.

This place is a treasure! Will be back again and again.

The staff here is great. They all seem so happy and friendly.

The JCC is an overwhelmingly horrible gym and an atrocious overall recreational facility for many reasons. To start off, the staff is what ruins any integrity of this institution. As a side note, the majority of the staff is very polite and kind, constantly helping out when possible. However, the people at the front desk are an entirely different story. They’re incomprehensibly rude, constantly exhibiting a passive-aggressive tone and acting extraordinarily petty; They always try to flake their way out of honoring guest passes and get real snappy when you forget your card. Also, it’s blatantly obvious this institution tries to squeeze as much many as possible out of every member; From cutting corners cost wise to constantly renting out gym space for an extra buck, this place doesn't even try to make their money-making antics discreet. For example, the balls provided at their basketball courts are horribly inadequate for their use; They’re either deflated, partially ripped or both. Another flaw of this institution is their locker rooms. Old men will constantly walk around the locker room fully naked without any regard of self-decency. As a 16-year-old male, fully naked old men isn’t a pleasurable sight. Even worse, the locker rooms aren’t kept clean; The showers are filthy at best and, even if I could use the sauna or steam room, their very sight and smell is repulsive.

I'm almost 57 years old. I remember going to this camp when I was 12 years old with Antioch Baptist Church out of Cleveland, Ohio in 1972. Again in 1973 with my younger brother Richard. We had a ball both years. The food was great! I remember crying when I left, because I had so much fun. I now work with a group called the Lake Erie Order of Pythagorans, a young group of boys and would love to see about getting them there for summer camp. Looks like it has improved since then. My years at Echo Lake Camp were the single most life-changing experiences in my life. Years later, I still regularly look back at my experiences and am so thankful. Many of my most meaningful and enduring relationships started at Echo Lake. We still support Echo Lake and always will, because I can't think of anything more worthwhile that you could do for your kids. BTW, camp starts at age 14.

Im benachbarten Geschäft werden indianische Waren angeboten, teilweise leider Made in China. Interessant ist der Ort dennoch. Als Tourist wird man aber eher hier her verfrachtet, um Geld auszugeben.

Extremely friendly and hospitable host. Facilities were clean. Breakfast and Dinner was included. Access to kitchen, which is a nice bonus. Well-priced. Was very cool to stay in the tipi. There is a very nice outdoor patio and it is conveniently located - near the ferry. Would definitely stay here again when I come back, which I will! I loved my stay at Manitoulin island!
