It's frozen in the winter. We didn't know that. Kinda dissapointing however we had a great adventure getting there.

Awesome place very safe for our children glad no dogs allowed . We were invited there as it is not open for public camping. Dont know how the moron that didnt like the dogs and thought Cosy Cove was in the middle of no-where even got in there . Perhaps he got lost but he is BARKING up the wrong tree. Ha

A great chain of outdoor retail stores. They've got a well catered selection of mid to top brands in most mountain sports. Well stocked and the staff are knowledgeable about the products! Prices seem comparable to most rec stores in bigger cities, so that helps. Definitely a good spot to stop for advice and any gear deficiencies before you got the trailhead!

This campsite was one of the best camping experiences I've had in BC. We were driving back across the country to Toronto, and this was one of our stops. Wish we could have stayed for longer than one night. Will be returning for sure!

KETTLE FALLS CAMPGROUND
1368 Kettle Park Rd, Kettle Falls, Washington, 99141, United States
Awesome semi-primitive campground. Lake Roosevelt goes up and down based on water dam needs. Highest water levels will be from July to late in the year. Pretty sure the campground is year round available, with camp hosts seasonally.
- Flushable toilets are a short walk away
- Fresh water is on tap at various places in the campground
- Paved, relatively flat campsites, both pull through and back in
- Dump station at the exit
- Cell phone signal on Verizon was solid 4 bars
- No electric at the sites, but you can run a genny during certain times
- 10 minutes to town for ammenities
- Marina access is close
- Available fire pit when allowed
- Decent picnic tables at each space
- Good views of the water, some are up closer to the lake

Sadly the only campsite to have a fire ban on this early in the summer at Christina (happens every year). There are WAY too many large trees on the beach blocking all the sun. So if you’re looking for sun, you’re better off laying in the field to find it. Wifi is also poor
