Rooms are fine, staff are friendly (except one supper cook, angry and rude as a rule)..but the food is horrible. Heavy on the salt, all meats are (boiled?) tough and tasteless. Leftovers are 5 days old (as of today same sandwiches/meals offered from 5 nights ago. Gotta take a run to G.C to find non perishable foods i can keep in my vehicle..it's that bad. Upside..if you want to lose a few pounds...
Mabel Lake Provincial Park

A great provincial park on a beautiful lake. Many of the sites have great views of Mable Lake but all sites are close to the lake with easy access. There are nice grassy meadows between many of the loops giving the feeling of spaciousness. There is a small marina that rents boats and has ice. The park has an overflow field just in case you can’t get one of the first come, first served sites.

Dirty blankets, blinds on window so broken as to be useless in privacy, tv but no cable so again useless room had been repainted and floor done but workmanship was extremely poor quality.

25$ a night now that they have full phone signal and wifi. Sites are surrounded by trees so you can not see your neighbors. Really clean with a friendly/helpful owner. Plus it is right off the highway so it is a handy stop. I've been coming here for years and there are always empty sites (hidden gem)
If your looking to enjoy nature, yet like to have phone signal, this is the place to go.
