Chiropractor

A few years back I came off my horse and injured myself. Each ride after that was a painfull experience. Finally after some prodding from friends I looked for a solution. I had experienced traditional chiropractic methods in the past and knew it was not for me. That was when I was introduced to JHC. The methods are gentle and effective. Dr's Will and Erin are the most caring people you will ever meet. I have referred family members, friends and co-workers knowing that they will receive the best possible care at JHC. For me......I'm back in the saddle again thanks to JHC. Carol Scott

Beware!! Treated without consent! My neck was manipulated without consent which has left me with debilitating pain and nerve damage. As a result I have not been able to work and my quality of life has diminished. When contacted Steciuk's response was, 'sorry things didn't go as planned'. A mere 'sorry' does not take away the damage that has been done. My entire life has change in the blink of an eye.

I recommend this Chiropractic Clinic to everyone in Barrie, Dr Dell'oso is one of the best!!

I have been a member at Whistle Bear for 8 years. I have recently started to workout at Depth with Kerri. Kerri devoped a program to address some specific goals that I had. In short time, I have seen significant improvements in the areas I wanted to address. Kerri is very professional, knowledgeable and encouraging. I would recommend giving Depth a try to address any physical health goals you may have.

I don't think it is clear to folks, that even if you are looking for a chiropractor, or chiropractic treatment at this clinic, you have to first go through a Naturopath for an assessment (with $120 admin fee) and then get set up with the chiropractor ($45). It is a very confusing (and expensive) referral system. Initially, I had made an appointment for a chiropractic visit with Dr. Dronyk, because I was looking for a chiropractor to help with a hip problem and he was referred to me. I was really surprised when I arrived and was told I would be seeing Dr. Bishop who is a Naturopath. I balked but then Dr. Dronyk sat in; so as odd as it was I went through giving a lot of information about all kinds of health questions, not necessarily related to my request for a chiro appointment. I was then allowed to have my chiro appt with Dr. Dronyk. Unfortunately, he then explained he wouldn't be doing an adjustment on my hips, which is what my osteopath had suggested and reason another naturopath had referred me on here for chiropractic. It is very disappointing and confusing when you, as a patient who knows your body and has been told what might be advised, get something other than what you think would work for you. Especially when following the treatment, that evening and into the morning, I had unusual and significant pain in my lower back and left hip area requiring I take 2 Tylenol 3 just to sleep that night. When I called, I was told that I should see my osteopath or wait a week for my next visit and try to tough it out. Usually one expects to feel better (not worse) after seeing a health practitioner, so this was very disappointing, just as it was finding out I had to go through (and be billed for $120) for another Naturopath assessment in addition to the one from the previous Naturopath who referred me there for the chiropractic. So that is 2 assessments in less than 2 months!! which takes a chunk out of my health budget and doesnt give me the benefit of treatment or health care that those health $$ dollars are allotted for. Dr. Bishop, however, was good enough to understand the situation when it was explained to her and waive that assessment which represented her time. She also clued me in that while I had thought Larry Steel was a Naturopath, (Dr. Dronyk referred to him as Dr. Steel, and another person may have said naturopath when they recommended him) he is actually a NaturoTHERAPIST and not registered as an ND, so unfortunately I am also out of pocket for what I thought was being covered under my insurance plan as a naturopath. My sincere wish is that practitioners ensure there is clarity around the services they provide (especially from an insurance perspective, as they must know people will expect to use their health benefits and wonder if they are covered) AND that you get what you are requesting and ultimately paying for, especially when you are asking the right questions. It is entirely confusing that if you are calling for a chiropractor, you first have to see and be billed for an assessment by a naturopath. I can't comment further on the results from this clinic, because I will likely not continue, since I have to seek care for the resulting effects from the treatment elsewhere and I have lost my trust in the way things are done at this clinic. I will re post and edit if that changes.

Best decision i have made was to come Snelgrove Chiropractic.. very informative and has helped in so many ways.. Shelly is awesome and really knows her stuff, she is so caring and never shy's away from giving someone a hug that needs it.. All the staff have been great ..i highly recommend that if you need chiropractic care you go here

I have hurt my back numerous times, I don't know how I do it, but when it happens I just need to get rid of the pain, ASAP, and get back to my active life. I can honestly say that without discomfort, without drugs or scary contraptions, and in one short visit, my back is pain free:) I would definitely recommend this talented Doctor to anyone who is dealing with back pain.

Very knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable on my 1st ever chiropractic appointment. He is a hidden gem, highly recommend.

Hello, Jason Sweezey here. From being a bricklayer in my younger days I put my spine out so bad I looked like I was leaning over but I was standing straight up. No pills or regular doctors could help my condition, so at first I had went to another Chiro adjuster [won't say any names] and all he did was to adjust me in a way that would never actually fix my condition. Instead all he wanted was my money each week unfortunately. Then I heard about Doctor David Lundy from many people at work and after 2 or 3 years I had to give him a try even though I was so skeptical he could help me. In my mind all I kept thinking is this is another goofball that wants me to pay off his BMW or house payments. Well, to my surprise, this was not the case! YES I AM THAT SERIOUS about his utterly amazing skills to help people. Doctor Lundy cares about his patience and does his best to fix you right from the start! If you suffer from back problems I urge you to go see Doctor Lundy he's the BEST! Forget The Rest!!!! I live a pain free life thanks to his skill! Honestly, Jason Sweezey
