Elite and genuine body artist- Dr. Gervais Two years ago, I made the decision to have my excess skin in my mid-section evaluated by local plastic surgeons to understand my options. I didn’t have any friends or family members with this life experience so I had no idea of what the process, challenges or obstacles may be with surgery such as this. However, after looking in the mirror and lifting my excess stomach skin for sometimes hours a day- it was time to get my life back. My personal weight loss story/journey....After graduating college and “retiring” from collegiate sports - I grew complacent and gained 145 pounds. After losing 130 pounds through diet and exercise I was disappointed in the appearance of my sagging skin in my stomach/buttocks area. Knowing further diet and exercise would not correct my situation and holding at my weight of 145 pounds for 3+ years I was ready and on the search for a doctor to further assist and complete my transformation. After numerous plastic surgery consultations, I decided on Mpls Plastic Surgery and Dr. Gervais . This is a life changing surgery and I wanted the best in my corner! After my many meetings and discussions with Dr. Gervais I trusted him and his team to complete my 360 circumferential body lift surgery. ( Honestly, I was scared, worried and uncertain- however, Dr. Gervais was very reassuring and I never felt like I was just a “patient” to him) Dr Gervais’ communication, optimism, time invested, personality, professionalism, experience and overall surgery/treatment plan convinced me he was the right choice for me. My surgery was completed on November 10, 2017. I am currently 8 weeks post op and I could not be more happy with my decision or my results. Dr. Gervais and his team provided excellent bed side manner and detailed instructions for healing. I have followed these guidelines both pre & post op and have encountered little to no pain/swelling and have experienced expedited healing. I have a desk job and was working from home less than a week post surgery. The decision to have this surgery was not easy, however I could not be more pleased with my surgical experience and results thus far and would highly recommend Dr. Gervais and his team for any cosmetic needs. He has without a doubt given me back my confidence and quality of life.

Dr Shell is a very caring, concerned, compassionate person. He is an outstanding doctor. His treatment of my injury has been exceptional. I don't believe you'd find a better plastic surgeon anywhere. His staff will make you feel as if you are a very special friend.

My daughter was 4 months old when Dr. David Jansen did her first laser surgery on a hemangioma tumor on the right side of her neck that was connected to her main artery. He placed her on steroids and did a second laser surgery when she was 8 month s old. My daughter is now 18 and in college at LSUA in Alexandria to become a registered nurse. Dr. Jansen saved my daughter's life and I can never thank him enough or praise him enough for the excellent job that he did!

Dr. Weiler has a great team of medical and office staff at the both the Hammond and Baton Rouge locations. They are consistently professional, personable and genuine. I mainly interact with Taylor, P.A. and strongly recommend her hands down. She has outstanding skills accompanied with confidence, excellent bed side manners and is very knowledgeable. Thank you!

Choosing a plastic surgeon is serious and you want to feel comfortable and confident in your choice. I had interviewed quite a few surgeons when I met Dr. Ryan Flannagan and knew after my consultation that he was the one. I love how everything turned out and enjoyed my time with his staff as well. I could not have wished for a better turn out and am blessed to have had him as my doctor. If you are unsure, choose him and his team. You will not regret it!

Flannagan Plastic Surgery is wonderful. The staff is so kind and supportive, as is Dr. Flannagan. I look and feel soooo much better. I highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in/ or in need of plastic surgery.

Great experience for my son after a sports injury

He did a tummy tuck on my aunt and it been more than a year that she been having problems with a cut he mad on her and it hasnt heal and they schedule her appt 3 to 4 months out it horrible service and you cant ever seem to talk to him

I am a 30 year old African American woman and I had a tummy tuck with liposuction on Feb.16th of 2015. I went back to work on April 6th. I chose Dr. Brown because he has 20+ years of experience in dealing with larger curvaceous women and knows how we like for our bodies to look. My experience with Dr. Brown was a nothing short of amazing and I will refer anyone that needs or wants plastic surgery. The surgery is painful (no since in lying about it), so be prepared for that. I started out at 314lbs and now I am 264lbs and still losing. My scar is that of a C-section except for the fact that it extends around to my kidneys. I use silicon strips around my waist to minimize my scarring and they work nicely. My body heals very well so even with a bikini on you still can't see my scar. I was able to stand up straight in about 2.5 weeks and I have been exercising since 4 week post-op. I only do cardio exercises because my mid-section is still too tender to work out. The biggest concern with any surgery is your recovery time and how your body will heal. It is imperative to do the research and not put unrealistic time frames on your healing. Most people see celebrities have surgery on television and then we see them up and healed. The show isn't long enough to show their recovery so it is important for you to keep that in mind when you are trying to decide whether or not to have surgery. Also, make sure you have a solid support system that will help you with daily living activities as they will be challenging during the first month after your procedure. Overall, I love my results and so does my husband. My body looks very nice and I receive compliments daily on how well the results turned out. I didn't know I was this curvy until I saw Dr. Brown!

Dr. Rawlings and his nurse were very rude. I had an injury from an accident which I had to have surgery to remove a lipoma. They didn't want to take the insurance and basically called me a liar about the lipoma giving me pain. "Are you sure it's just because you don't like the way it looks?" How rude is that? "Well we don't want you to have to spend any money since that was a problem last time" beyond rude and unprofessional. Because they wasted my time and money my first visit. If I would've been wealthy they would have been a lot more helpful and "caring" towards me and I made sure I let them know that. I don't recommend Dr. Rawlings at all! (I never met the other surgeons) Money Hungry. Their motto should be "Money talks" it's disgusting.
