Dr. Gigena is compassionate. He was my co doc while in WVMC, and has great bedside manner and loves his work, as far as I could tell!

Rude Condescending Doctor.... Let me tell you my terrible, rude experience that happened today visiting Dr. Combs and West Linn Plastic Surgery Center. 9:30 in the morning, came in to get my broken hand checked on to see how the healing had progressed. I was greeted by 2 ladies who were nice enough. Next I shimmied into the office to await the arrival of Dr. Combs. Upon opening the door Dr. Combs gave the standard, "hi how are you doing," and tha'ts about as friendly and courteous as he got. The next question was a condescending "why are you hear, you should be at another doctor." Baffled by his question I said I would like my once-broken hand checked up as it had been 4 weeks since it was in a splint. He said something along these lines, "you shouldn't be here. it's a waste of your money and you should be at the other doctor. that's the problem with Health care, CONTINUITY. You should be going to that other doctor and finishing your treatment with him." Again, kind of taken by surprise, I was like uh they referred me to you? I called him rude on the spot and he said i'm just being honest. Anyway after the little exchange I said can you just check my hand out? he looked at it and was like "you shouldn't still be wearing this splint, I would have told you only 3 weeks." He went on to explain it doesn't impede movement etc., you shouldn't be wearing this anymore. I'm new to West Linn and everyone I meet is nothing but helpful and courteous. I guess there is an exception to every bunch. All in all it was a really bad time with a rude doctor. If I knew of a friend, neighbor or family member that wanted a breast augmentation or laser skin care I would steer them far far from Dr. Combs and the West Linn Plastic Surgery Center. Full transparency: I first went to a plastic surgeon in Hillsboro, I have no idea why an emergency room refers you to a plastic surgeon for a broken hand, but I wasn't crazy about him either, maybe it's the profession?

Even though our son's allergist is in Walla Walla, they have been accommodating in allowing him to get his weekly allergy shots here. Thanks!

Doctor Burgess did an amazing job with my breast reduction. First, I love the outcome, because they look amazing! But more than that, Dr. Burgess helped made me aware of my breast tissue density, and because they are so dense and because my mom passed away from breast cancer, she urged me to get breast MRI's, since mammograms with my dense breasts would be essentially worthless. She referred me to an awesome surgical oncologist to watch over my boobs from here on out. I am so grateful she went the extra step to make sure my breast not only looked good, but stayed healthy!

Best type of technology for gettinglipo and cosmetic procedures, staff are nice and professional.

I have a very specific skin condition that I wanted another opinion on, and all the dr did was suggest the same medication I was already on. she also said she'd look into something else if my insurance covered it, but I never received a follow up call. my skin is the worst it's ever been.
