Dance Studio

I love dancing here.

Our daughter has danced at Allegro for 4yrs and our youngest will start in the fall. We have always been extremely happy at Allegro. The teachers are wonderful. A fantastic atmosphere and an amazing place to learn to dance. Thank you for all you do!

Great dance studio. No judgement. Welcoming to all. No pressure. No nasty-ness. No inappropriate music and no children in revealing costumes. Fun place for all to learn to dance and create in a wonderful environment.

Best teachers, friendly atmosphere, professional approach! Love the fact that everyone, including adults, perform semiannual on the stage, awesome experience.

My children have been dancing at Classical Dance Academy for many years. The family friendly atmosphere and caring, dedicated teachers make their time at the studio something they look forward to. They started in the studio's very popular combo class and are now members of the competitive team. After trying other dance studios and not being pleased with what was offered I was happy to finally find such a good fit for our family. I cannot say enough about the studio. I highly reccomend this studio to anyone looking for a great studio at an affordable cost.

We've been with the studio for a few years and it is an excellent dance studio. The teachers are all friendly, passionate and willing to share their experience. Studio owner is caring, professional and dedicated to the students.

Professional training with a family feel. We’ve tried a few dance schools in Ottawa, but Canadian School of Dance stands out for its professionalism and the quality of instruction. The recitals are beautifully organized, and the kids gain so much confidence performing on stage.

Was told that I would be able to follow along with the class being a total beginner, got there and realized I was led astray. The instruction was not bad but I was not in the right class and by that point it was too late to change. Sustained a knee injury and wanted to get credited for the remaining classes, as in credits for a drop in class some time later in the year when my knee would be better, but was refused. Not a pleasant experience and I won't be returning. I'm glad people have had a better experience but if you're considering having a flexible schedule I would recommend not pursuing this school.

My experience with Dance with us Ottawa has been amazing over the past few years. They have taught me a lot and have gotten me from begginer to having a gold medal in youth amateur competitions. They are very welcoming and all teachers are amazing!

A friendly welcoming environment inclusive of all regardless of size, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, and level of fitness. All the instructors are accommodating and love giving a helping hand. The variation in classes (stretch class to pole class to boot camp to acrobatics etc) means having something for everyone to enjoy. Love my dance family and the feeling of home away from home. Recommend to everybody!
