Dance Studio

Massive variety of classes, including well known folk you'll recognise from other London dance studios. Classes are often 90 minutes (at cheaper prices!), so you get more of a chance to learn the choreo. People pay before class (no door fee, just class fee) so teachers don't have to stop teaching to collect money from people. They've just opened and still working a few things out (need benches in the change rooms, mirrors getting a bit misty so staff wipe them down) but staff are super helpful.

I got to discover the depth of Flamenco with Ollie, a truly inspiring teacher who succeeds in making you get a firm hold on the music and the necessary feeling behind it. Olé.

I cannot fault the experience I have had so far at Polepeople, it’s been fantastic! The staff are all so friendly and are so patient with beginners like me who sometimes need to be told how to do something endless amounts before it finally sinks in! Pole is such a fun thing to do especially when you do it as a group, and amazing exercise without actually feeling like your do a workout. I’m definitely signing up for the intermediate course and can not wait! I recommend anyone interested to give it a go, you won’t regret it.

Flow Dance is a 5 Star Dance studio and has the best instructors that will help you grow and challenge you to become the dancer you aspire to be. Flow is the place to be !

Sarah and Davi are both incredible teachers and wonderful people. Their classes are friendly, useful and inspiring and organised into 3 levels so the potential to progress from absolute beginner to advanced is there (I did it!). If you are keen to learn choreography and perform (even as a novice dancer) they often organise student shows. They also regularly host workshops from the best teachers from all over the world. So whether you aspire to become a professional dancer, just love dancing (or want to learn another style of dance) or simply want to make friends and be part of a fun and vibrant social scene, RioZoukFusion is for you! I'm so happy and proud to be part of their zouk family in London.

Ever since I was a child I just looooved tango. It is such a beautiful dance I think. So not long ago I decided to finally learn to dance it. I can't compare TangoAr to any other place as TangoAr is where I started learning tango for the first time. I can say, however, that I really enjoy it. The atmosphere is very nice and everyone is very friendly. And the studio is very nice too (which is equally important). I personally believe that if you get the basics right from the very beginning, you will feel more confident and learning more complicated things will not seem too difficult. And I think that Ricardo is very good at teaching and explaining how to get those very important basics right. He is very good at explaining the technique. At least for me it is important to know "how" and "why" :-) Ricardo is genuinely interested in his students progressing, which is a big plus when your goal is to "hit that dancefloor" as soon as possible AND know what you are doing :-). So if you would like to learn this beautiful dance I could definitely recommend TangoAr.
