Dance Studio

Negma is a sweetheart and excellent teacher! She makes sure you're doing a good job and is super suportive. I miss having her here in Vancouver! She's got tons of experience and she is herself a beautiful bellydancer.

Best . Place. Ever

A delightful local dance company with regular performances and talented dancers. I’m biased as my daughter has been going to lessons but the rates are decent and the staff professional. The 2018 Peter Pan Ballet was magical and their version of the seasonal Nutcracker - The Gift - is always a crowd pleaser with a live performance from the local symphony orchestra.

Bernard Henin is an expert instructor in Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata, and Semba. He is very patient with beginners and manages to keep everyone in the class happy. I take Kizomba lessons - a great way to meet new people! No partner required as we all get a chance to dance with each other.

This studio by far has the best Zumba classes (I have tried Zumba at 7 other locations) . They have the best instructors who are extremely fun and energetic my favorite instructors are Silvi and Angi but every instructor they have is wonderful which is rare to find. The space provided is great with the perfect temperature at all times. You will really work up a sweat without even noticing that you are working out because its just so much fun.

AMAZING!!! great teachers and incredible atmosphere. enrolled your kid they will love it and learn a lot.

Michael and Amy are very friendly, great dancers and amazing instructors. If you want to have fun and learn wcs efficiently, this is the place to go.

At Dance Collective, it feels like family. Everyone is so loving and supportive. The teachers there, are wonderful. They're all so creative, talented and dedicated. Dance Collective is a warm and welcoming place, with so many people who are just incredible. I will never forget my second home. 💕

Amazing instruction !!! The instructor is very knowledable and very encouraging. I have not seeing any instructor in Vancouver to have the ability to show things with so much precision as Diego Sanchez has.

Amazing experience. I started out relatively later to ballet as a 17-year old boy at the time, but Mr. Li saw my potential and took me into his studio. Despite dancing with girls who had had 10 years worth of experience over me, I always felt welcome to and safe in class. Since having danced there for only a couple of years, multiple dance and musical theatre opportunities have opened up to me. No complaints whatsoever.

Our son has been taking Hip-Hip and Breakdance classes at Dancin' Stars for 7 years. This is his 2nd year on the breakdance battle crew and is approaching his 2nd competition season. He had such a great time last year, winning awards and bonding with friends, he's now on two competition teams! We highly recommend this studio as the teachers are highly skilled and engaged with their students, as are the staff, many of whom take lessons or have their own kids enrolled. The annual recitals are very enjoyable and never fail to impress us with the choreography.

omg so bad
