In my opinion, Westside dance is one of the best studios in Vancouver. It's not a big company, but you will learn and improve just as well as you would anywhere else. Westside dance provides many great opportunities, like going to Disneyland, competitions, and more.

My new husband and I recently took private dance lessons to surprise our wedding guests for our first dance. As same sex novice dancers, we didn't know where to begin or exactly what we wanted. Thank goodness Clara came into our lives. Not once did we feel uncomfortable or out of place. Her patience, friendliness, humour and most of all talent is beyond measure. We left every lesson smiling and couldn't wait to learn more. After seven lessons the dancing spoke for itself. We were able to confidently surprise our guests with the most incredible dance routine specifically designed for us. We are so glad we chose Clara to lead us and create a moment in our lives that we nor any of our guests will ever forget!

Hi Sarah, It’s a while that I intended to write a few words to express my deep gratitude for your sensitive teaching and coaching that you’re so skillfully providing during all your classes within the Women’s Dance Group. Since the first day I started to be your student I was enthralled, mesmerized and filled with pure happiness. You were able to give me something that I thought was ‘lost’ - to be a woman with all its beauty and mystery. They say dancing is releasing your ‘happy’ hormones. Indeed I can witness this wholeheartedly. Once I hit the dance floor there is no importance of my looks nor the perfect style it’s the dance/choreography - all these steps and moves in the right rhythm to the music that takes over. Great course, Susana is an excellent teacher and the classes are fun, I feel like she has a deep understanding of and passion for the dance--highly recommend it for anyone thinking of learning the art of tango.
