Dr. Sandy and Debbie are a great team. My old dentist only saw me only after the cleaning was done for a few minutes to review, and could never easily change my appointment. Not this place, Dr. Sandy does all the cleaning and any work that may need to be done; she is on the conservative side and will not pressure you. She is gental and thorough, and has an up to date electronic charting system. I have been a patient since she started this practice, and when I told her I got engaged she offered free whitening or to fix a slightly chipped bridge for the photos. They are both so nice to work with, I can change my appointment easily. Price is reasonable for such a great small/personalized operation.

I have been with this office since I was a kid, before my teens. I'm now 40 something! I've chosen to stay with this office through 3 different dentists/owners now & I am still quite pleased with how my experiences have turned out. Thank you again!

We had an emergency situation and called Dr. Mamiko's office in a pinch. She was extremely understanding and asked that we come in right away to have my daughter looked at without any hesitation. Dr. Mamiko herself and the staff were all so wonderful and made us actually feel welcome - and not an inconvenience in the least. We loved how our daughter was taken care of, the attention she received, and how we were educated about the issue thoroughly by Dr. Mamiko herself. We look forward to having Ballard Pediatric Dentistry as our source of dental care for our children from now on. We are beyond impressed by how we were all treated.

I have been visiting Dr. Reena Koshy for a year now. Both, my wife and I have been regular to her. She has been a good advisor and helpful practitioner.

Dr. Caden is awesome! I'm a person that hated going to the dentest but Dr Caden made me feel very comfortable. Hes very professional, trustworthy and honest. He is great at what he does I would not trust my teeth to another dentest! Not to mention his dentest office is the coolest thing I've seen in a while ;)

I dread going to the dentist. It's uncomfortable, expensive and I usually leave in pain after I'm done having someone talk down to me for an hour. I recently broke a tooth that was causing a lot of pain and went to a local place I found on Google and the dentist told me he could prescribe me pain meds and antibiotics but I would have to see an oral surgeon. The oral surgeon told me he could get me in a week later. I couldn't wait that long. I couldn't function because of the pain and I don't feel like pumping myself full of Percocet 24hrs a day. A friend of mine recently graduated from UW and he told me to call the dental school. I did. They said they didn't have an appointment but I could come in at 9am the next morning on standby. I really didn't have a choice. I showed up with my headphones and phone ready to catch up on a few hours of Game of Thrones but I was taken back in less than 5 minutes. I sit down and after a few questions and a quick x-ray the student informs me that he thinks the extraction is pretty straightforward and he doesn't think I need to see an oral surgeon. He brings over the overseeing dentist and he gives the thumbs up. I have never had a less painful smoother procedure. They kept me informed the entire time and did their best to keep me comfortable. I walked out the door less than an hour from when I walked in and I was on standby. Ive had cleanings that took longer and were more painful. Chris Harris performed the extraction assisted by Rochelle and I wish them both the best in their future dental endeavors and if that's the quality of care I can expect from the UW School of Dentistry maybe I won't dread going to the dentist anymore. Thanks again.

Under the new ownership of Dr. Joe Kim, Smiles On Madison is one of the BEST practices in the area. This is your dentist! I've been Dr. Kim's patient for 12 or 13 years and followed him to his new location when he bought this business. Even though I've now lived in Federal Way for several years, I've stayed with him. That should testify to my trust, commitment, and complete satisfaction in him and his staff, who also followed him to Smiles On Madison. Sensitive to patient needs, he and his staff provide outstanding competent, compassionate care using state-of-the-art equipment. They take a gentle approach to treatment, so you always feel at ease. Moreover, enough cannot be said about Dr. Kim's personal and professional integrity, honesty, and ethics. In a time when some dentists push costly procedures that are lucrative but unnecessary, Dr. Kim is irreprehensible. Your care plan options are thorough but left up to you to decide without any pressure. And one final thing: When you need him, he will be there, even if it's at his own personal sacrifice. There has been history with me when he has bent over backwards to meet me for necessary dental care. Patient health is his number one priority. No wonder I have stayed with him for so many years. You will, too.

Dr. Tarr has a good supporting staff however, I am in the middle of procedure now that has been so achey & painful, I'm in agony as I type this review. Even with my emergency appointment today...I'm pretty sure the outcome will require my tooth be extracted!!!
