The owners, Mike and Debbie are engaging conversationalists and very popular with local friends as well as folks who come to Middletown for some of our fantastic events, many of which feature unbelievably outstanding local live musicians and just about any musical genre. Come as a party of 1 or 21. Mike is the chemist and the the White Dog distillery is on site. The unique selection of custom distillery blends of whiskey, vodka, and bourbon is easily beyond imagination for many. These, along with a wide variety of flavors of every kind of rum, ginger beer and mint make up many of their fine cocktails. Add to that their wide selection of craft beers, domestic and imported beers and a variety of white and red wines. Middletown and beyond has a lot of very talented and diverse musicians. They have been coming to the White Dog to perform to our fine and fun loving citizens. You'll be glad you came in for talk, music or bar games like Scrabble. Maybe you'll meet the White Dog.

Went there Wednesday around noon and had 3 young ladies that were more than helpful. Great staff it was my 1st time but definitely not my last.

So glad we stumbled upon this spot! The Spiked Hot Chocolate was very good and they had games to play! The staff is attentive and friendly. It wasn’t too busy or loud when we went on a Friday afternoon.

Laid back atmosphere. Great place to kick back with friends. They made the best Old Fashioned I've ever tasted. Live music. Had a wonderful time.

Extensive variety of beer and liquor. All in uncomplicated, accessible reach. The personnel people, (H.R. Nowadays) did an outstanding job in hiring. You can't train pleasant into someone. The staff is extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It's always a pleasurable experience to shop here.

It it common for a place to close 6-8 minutes prior to said closing via website and posted store hours? Because i was never allowed to CLOSE within 10 minutes of posted hours...Or lock doors for clean up ect...PRIOR to my scheduled shift ...I showed up with 6 minutes on the clock only to find a male sitting outside to tell me "its closed,i am here to pick her up"when i said ..it isnt 11:00..he informed me of a "6 minute window thing"

Friendly, flexible, and responsive! These folks kept the drinks flowing at our wedding and were total professionals during wedding planning! They were also incredibly understanding during the pandemic and coordinated extremely well with us and each other when changes had to be made. We would definitely hire them again!

Amazing Shop! They carry a wide variety of very good beer, wine, bourbon, cigars, and other spirits to meet everyone’s needs. Staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable! Highly recommend shopping here in their newly renovated store!
