We were at a nearby hotel within walking distance. Surprised is not a strong enough word for the amount of variety they pack into the store! Mike readily offered recommendations based on your likes and dislikes. We would make the trek back here if we ever find ourselves at this hotel again.

A great little liquor store with a solid selection of craft beers and hard to find liquors. It's my go to place in Sussex.

Was doing some research for work looking for CBD/Delta-8 beverages and was supposed to see Wyld still around. Good stuff! But Big Red has an amazing tequila selection. Well be returning for that and signed up for their loyalty program. The guy behind the counter was very informative.

Awesome little “liquor store”. Didn’t have a large selection of liquor but great selection of beer which was definitely the highlight. Service was great and helpful even did some great up-selling!

Great special's and very kind gentleman running the front. Parking is right in front on a diagonal so easy but mind your reverse! They also have impulse items/snacks at the register.

Big Red Liquors is the cheapest place in town to cop my favorite drink, Proper 12. They have a VIP Club that's free to join and they offer tons of discounts on all kinds of products when you become a member. You gotta give them an email and a phone number but they don't SPAM you up with the stuff at all. Customer service is amazing every store I go to. My only small gripe is I wish they were open later. All the ones by me are only open til 11 or 12 p.m. And I work like a between 2nd & 3rd shift. But they're amazing nonetheless and definitely suggest you check them out!

I recently visited this liquor store and the store had an incredible selection of spirits, wines, and beers from all over the world. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I needed. Prices were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend this liquor store to anyone in the area.

I love the people in this liquor store cause they be chill af but its just you guys need to start checking your sodas cause they always be expired every time i buy one and you should definitely get newer sodas also cause never in my life have i seen you guys upgrade your sodas

Always have what I'm looking for, and if not they go out of their way to help me find a suitable alternative. Quite knowledgeable about helping you decide something new you've never had. EVERY recommendation/ suggestion has been a good choice. Newest reccomendation very good.

Went for a tour here recently with the owner and it was lovely. This place has the vibe of a quaint, small-town distillery that's focused on making extremely high-quality (but affordable) liquors. The tour was extremely detailed and the owner didn't mind going over time to answer questions and provide more information, so definitely budget for ~2 hours to take the tour, have the tastings, and chat. To address what I saw another reviewer mention about the owner being rude over the phone: I can't imagine him ever being straight-up rude (he's super friendly), but he was the only employee in the store during our tour, so I can see him wanting to keep any phone calls short while he's simultaneously juggling tours and chatting with the patrons in the store. The vibe in the store was never frazzled and we always felt like we had his full attention, so it seems like he's making the right trade-offs. Would absolutely recommend this tour, not just for the owner and the education, but also for the high quality of the liquors you'll get to try.

Love this place especially since I was greeted by some beautiful puppies when we went and the staff was very friendly.

For this place being small it surprised me how many items one can buy here. Best 1 stop shop ever. Employees make this an amazing place to shop.

Terrific stop and go. Picked up the 2022 BCBS variants with great ease. Clerks were very friendly, as well. Will definitely be back to visit next time we're in Appleton.

No wine here, but a nice selection of spirits and beer. This place is unpretentious as you can get, but the people here know their adult beverages. You can always get a good recommendation from the staff and even some tastes. Good selection of everything from everyday drinkers to special occasion bottles. It's my regular place for craft beer and spirits. They do a raffle for the super special bottles which I think is the fairest way of distributing those special Weller/Blanton's/Pappy. Basically you buy a bottle of bourbon or rye (and it's good stuff, not stuff they need to clear out) and you get a raffle entry. Definitely worth a drop by if you're in the area and if you're a local, definitely should be in your rotation.
