I've been going to The Liquor Bank since I was a kid. The staff makes you feel like Norm from Cheers. The beer is cold and stocked always.

Huge selection including a surprising amount of regular grocery stuff, including frozen foods! Prices, however.... Well, I guess you're paying extra for the convenience of having that wide a variety under one roof. =/

Open and sold drinks 👍 - also sold limes which was a nice touch, the tequila may have been a bit of a chore without. Sadly no tajin.

Dukes Cork & Bottle has a good selection of wine, liquor and other drinks. It has been in the same location for many many years. It's a Chico landmark for good spirits. Thanks

Beautiful location, stunning interior, overall good food, there were a few items we didn't end up caring for like the fries. But the pizzas we ordered we really good, as well as the wine. The atmosphere is pretty loud, and they don't limit numbers at the bar, at one point during our dining experience there were over 40 people at the bar that seats maybe 10-15 people. We sat at a table in the very front to the right, it was hard to hear our friends. The other thing was for such a large place there were only 2 stalls in the women's bathroom and one of the bathrooms was not clean, so there was a line forming outside.

Hate leaving this review since I’ve been coming here since the 70’s.. my folks still live in the neighborhood and I have now moved back in to take care of them and have lived up off Mulholland since 1964. Lost my Dad this year to covid and had to go down from the canyon to get two gallons of water, that is ALL I got, I typically go there to buy for family members when they’re there and do not want to drive all the way to the Blvd.. I usually get other items like ice cream, etc but on this evening, the man behind the counter commented on my very kind demeanor, asked if I needed a receipt, I said no thank you (trusted him) paid with my WF debit card, got home to see that my debit card was charged over $18 for two gallons of Crystal Geyser waters! Used to come here when my husband and I lived on Dumets and even ran into family members sometimes there while there! What a shame. He complimented me as he ripped me off. I was a long time customer and remember all the employees there, they knew me by name and so I guess this guy didn’t realize that my family and I have come here all through the years, used to be regulars at Jacques pizza and OZ Tunes and still order from Guidos on many occasions. I’m so sad that this person has to betray my trust cause he doesn’t realize what long time customers we are. I now always ask for a receipt so I can see what I’m getting charged. Used to be an honest place.
