Very nice staff and good selection

Right now the distillery is producing hand sanitizer. They are giving a bottle to each person free. Which is awesome with the current pandemic. You can also buy more if you being your own bottle.

The best sourdough pizza and pasta I've had in a long time. I was visiting a family member on First Avenue, and because the area was full and there was no online ordering available at the time, I chose to order at the front desk and take it home ( 2 minutes away). It was delicious. I am a vegetarian, and there were just around four options available to me ( including vegan ones). I tried three of them, and they were all fantastic. The portion sizes were generous for someone visiting from abroad, where a pizzahut or domino's big pizza is half the size.

They make an excellent limoncello and their amaro are great to add in mixed drinks

My husband & I visited back in September and ordered two flights so we could taste nearly everything offered. We enjoyed the tasting and left with a bottle of the plum gin which is fantastic! I’ve never really drank gin before but I really enjoyed the flavor. The bartender who served us was highly informed of the operations and distillery process.

Big portions and great cocktails! I ordered the impossible burger and a painkiller and my friend ordered the brussel sprouts and a mojito. My drink was well made and came in a fun tiki themed glass with very little ice, which I appreciated. My friend loved the brussel sprouts and the burger was delicious!

I love speakeasies and actively sought Bathtub and Gin out because of a failed encounter in NYC. This location is in the back alley of a residential building in Belltown - very inconspicuous; the only thing that will give it away is probably the line forming outside the door. We waited 30 min on a Friday evening, and already had people lining up behind us. We were initially seated on the couch in their lower floor, but asked to be seated elsewhere and our server very kindly obliged. We really enjoyed the ambience. We had the Fuzz Blossom and an old fashioned -both drinks were well made and strong (!) Service was friendly and fast.

I think the beer selection here is top notch. I have found beers from all over BC and beyond. I can't speak to their wine or hard liquor but it looks extensive as well. The Staff is always friendly and well informed. This is my go to liquor store in maple ridge without question.

Maya was freaking awesome! Split a delicious 6-pour tasting and really liked the rye and the special edition anejo. Also split a hatch green chile bloody Mary - perfection! So glad for the abrupt left-hand turn into this place!

We have always loved good vodka but honestly think that Backdrop takes it to a whole new level-clean, pure, smooth-perfect in a cocktail or over ice. It is the only vodka in our house now! The gin is amazing -special, fragrant, hard to explain but once you try it anything else just seems ordinary! Backdrop is doing everything right - making gin and vodka that are definitely Top Shelf!

The Staff has greatly improved since I first began shopping there 5 years ago. Used to be run by adolescents with bad attitudes and needing to prove something (in my opinion). But the staff has certainly evolved over the last few years (been replaced) and this group of helpful people are not the disrespectful kids that I initially provided the occasional attitude adjustments, free of charge. Lol *Huge selection and helpful staff. ***Tell them your phone number when you cash out and earns you points that you can use to pay for your beer and wine etc. Great business practice no doubt! Great selection with a genuinely friendly and helpful staff! Small note: There have been a number of bottles out of stock, but this primarily due to distribution issues plaguing the industry and BevMo is very transparent when this occurs.

Great prices. Staff are all really friendly! Plus you get a cookie! Store is always clean.

Great selection, they had wines that I couldn't find in other stores.
