Every time I go, their credit card system is out. Third time it’s happened today. Waste of time and nobody could buy anything. Beyond rude staff (Angie especially) during this holiday season.

This place has a sophisticated but relaxed feel -- dark wood, low lights, conversations at a normal volume. It was Sunday night, so I don't know if that's always the case. In fact, it was Sinatra Sunday and the music added to the ambiance. The nearly floor-to-ceiling shelves beautifully showcased more whiskeys than I would have guessed existed. The bartender was very knowledgeable about all types of whiskey and whiskey trivia. I was going to default to my usual whiskey and coke, but she recommended a Southpaw, a Seven Grand signature drink, and it was excellent.

Much happier with prices at Twins in the last couple of years. They bought up a bunch of small liquor stores, so not all of their locations are big and beautiful but they have reasonable prices and some great specials.

Evan is the absolute man The special whiskey he sold me was now sold out and absolutely no one in Austin was able to get the bottle. I explained to Evan how important it was for me to get this rare bottle again and that I would be forever grateful if he was able to locate one for me, less than a week later I received a text with great news Evan told me he had found and gotten exactly what I wanted. Great job

The selection is amazing, the staff is always helpful and knowledgable. This is easily one of the best liquor stores in Austin - I'll continue to go out of my way to get here.

Stopped by for a quick visit on a Sunday afternoon mainly to try a flight of their four main spirits. Not really a whiskey guy but enjoyed what I tried, although their gin wasn't that great. Also tried a fig-infused cocktail that was good if a bit too sweet. Friendly service and good atmosphere, worth checking out.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Chip and the staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. You can find pretty much anything here … especially high-end tequila! Chip also does a lot for the local community. Highly recommend!!!

Love getting to try unique and well curated wines and interacting with the staff!

It's not often you find a store like this one. We were able to get multiple Austrian and French wines that we thought we wouldn't find while we were on vacation. But they had them. In addition to our favorite cheese to go with it. Great store.

Good prices any pretty much and hard liquor imaginable.

Had a great experience here. One of the workers was very polite and helped me pick exactly what I needed for a recipe

Love the dog guarding the front of the store, has a lot of interesting items and my favorites, Deep Eddys Grapefruit Vodka and Treaty Oaks Bourbon

Great neighborhood liquor store. They always have what I need for a reasonable price and are much better for a quick stop than the big stores. They are always willing to explain their policies as well.

Stopped in here for the first time today went to the store browsed came across the deli it was all closed with nobody back there as I could as far as I can tell.... However Matt who works in the back was there offered to help provide a lot of useful suggestions and make sure I was all taken care of just for last minute snack stop will definitely go again. The staff at the north Austin and south Austin store are especially helpful and knowledgeable. The assistant manager at the north store is, awesome! He goes above and beyond in order to serve his customers needs.

Rare bottles for a few dollars more. Followed by almost rare at a great price. They know what you like before you do…

Surprisingly decent selection of tequilas, convenient location and very reasonable prices for an independent liquor store.
