Short statement: Highly recommended and encourage anybody in Annapolis valley to look at Tom and his team when considering Solar. The entire team was a pleasure to work with. Long statement: Tom was accessible, sometimes at short notice, and responsive to questions and concerns. We decided to go with Watts Up Solar after acquiring four proposals, and theirs was the most responsive to our needs and was on par for cost. We made the strategic decision to source our system from none-Asian markets to reduce the possibility of international chaos interfering with our system. So panels are German and controls and batteries are American. Our system is a little different than the standard system as we have 13.5 kWh of battery storage. This means that in the event of a power failure we have instantaneous switching. The batteries also provide power after the sun sets. Batteries can be set to stop supplying at a preferred percentage, or fully charged in anticipation of a storm.

I use the online grocery shopping and pick up here and they are the best. I never have a long wait for my groceries and very few substitutions and unavailable items like I experienced at other stores. Also great customer service!

MRE did a great job. No detail was too small. Aaron listened to my concerns and built a system that gives me everything I asked for. Very professional and through in his work. MRE knows solar energy and delivered on their promises. Their price was reasonable and the quality of work was exceptional. I am very happy with the work done. I am now producing my own electricity and delighted with a greatly reduced energy bill. It is nice to be green!

Ten or more years ago I had several bids for solar all were in 100k range which wasn’t double. In May I investigated again as I was advised there was a price drop and tax credit. Not recalling any of the previous contractors I called Solar Sun World. I talked with Joseph who stated he had given me a quote previously which was a big plus that he had been in business that long . This was a clue his company was reliable.There were no gimmicks or pressure that I had experienced with other contractors. After conversing ,Joseph presented me with a detailed proposal showing all components and projections on return of investment. After a 7,000 tx credit my cost was 25k. Joseph’s team preformed flawlessly. They started and completed work in a reasonable manner.He is fortunate to have people who take interest in and complete job as prescribed. It was refreshing to do business with someone who preformed what they promised. The whole project was A+ from sale to completion.

Brand new marine battery lasted less than 3 months before failing. Terrible product and worse customer service.
