Anytime I walk in, I'm greeted and asked if I need help. From seasoning for my Traeger, freshly mixed paint, or anything I might need for my projects, this is my preferred stop.

I was really pleased with this company. They were helpful and professional. From the initial energy audit to the insulation installation, it was a great experience. The person doing the audit pointed out little jobs that we could do on our own. I felt like they were looking out for me and not just trying to make a bigger sale. We hired them for adding blown in attic insulation and insulating some exposed rim joists in the basement. The night before they were to come, I was second guessing our decision. Should we have just done the rim joists ourselves? After they completed the job, I was so glad they did it! They were so thorough and protected the things in the basement before starting. They cleaned up after their work and did a level of insulation that I clearly did not have the tools or expertise to accomplish. I am really glad that we hired them.

I needed information about recommissioning a used solar system that i was purchasing from a neighbor and Ron came through in spades. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and most of all patient with those that lack the knowledge. He armed me with the information I needed and I now have a goal and target.

We had the pleasure of connecting with Rob this past week. We were on our maiden voyage in our new Promaster - van conversion with a brand new off-grid solar power system which we thought was well sized for our needs. A couple days into our travels, we ran into issues with error messages on the batteries and had the whole system shut down - no hot water for showers, no fridge freezer, no coffee! Being from Ontario we were in a jam. Rob juggled a few things and saw us as soon as he could. Although he was not overly familiar with our equipment vendor, it was clear that he has great expertise in solar power and electrical systems. He got on the phone with our provider in Ottawa and after a discussion, tried a few things and he was able to pin-point a couple issues which he addressed. He then took the time to ensure that the appliances were drawing reasonable loads, and that the alternator would also charge the batteries. Off we went - able to use everything and wishing we had a guy like Rob near us who we could work with. We told him we would be the first to sign up for any solar 101 training he might offer and he would be an excellent resource to hire for consulting on a solar project also. A real gem! We highly recommend Rob and can't say enough about his integrity, knowledge and innate desire to provide exemplary service to the people he works with. Great company and people. 5 star+

Solar Ascent has provided an excellent service before, during and after the install of our solar array one year ago. I would give 6 stars to the entire team if they were available.

I dont recommend Renewable lifestyles because of missing screws in the brackets that holds the system to the roof, missing butyl underneath the brackets where shingles are uneven. Extra brackets installed on the roof that were installed in the wrong locations. Not only they were not necessary to have installed, they are also an eye sore. Renewable lifestyles had to replace the roof ridge venting after they damaged it during the installation of solar panels. Electrical conduit not installed correctly. And on top of it our whole family witnessed one of the employees fall off the roof and injure himself.

Dealing with Molen was a pleasure. I was happy with their proposal and price. Everyone we had contact with was professional, knowledgable, polite, and helpful. The installation went smoothly and it was completed in very little time.The final product was superlative and we have had absolutely no problem with our solar installation. I do recommend the "critter guard" because birds, in particular, love getting under the panels. I highly recommend this company. They have my complete trust and they will serve you well.

Wonderful product. Portable durable and effective. Perfect for real world utility although I am just having it for regular power outages. I guess version 2 will have a one USB-A and one USB-C connection. Maybe offer an optional add on frame kit that installs around the product and still folds like a book, but can lock at a few angles and has more more mounting options (on walls or poles etc.). This would provide additional reinforcement from accidental damage and allow better angles to the sun for conversion efficiency. Overall a beautiful product though and very happy to have it.

Solar Farm is truly the best in the business! Their team was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and they provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process. We're thrilled with the positive impact on our energy bills and the environment, and we suggest them to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient renewable energy solution.

would have given a 0 rating if that was an option. My appartment has heat included and somehow my bill went from $70 to $170 in winters. I have no dishwasher, no tv, no gaming console and just used electricity to work on my computer and somehow the electricity to run my computer has risen for them to more than double. The company is just enjoying monopoly over electricity which is why it is always surcharging. Talked with customer care agents multiple times but they do not offer any help. When trying by e-mail about this issue, nova scotia power did not reply to the e-mails for months and have still not replied. While calling them the agents do not help investigate if there was any mistake by chance. With thar going without any regulation, this company can scam people by charging them unrealistic bills every month without any consequences. They would even limit the feedback form to 200 words and would not let you submit more than 2. So, you cannot complaint about the awful service.
