Doug and Austin went above and beyond the call of duty for setting up a great crew to remove 40 existing panels and reinstall on a brand new metal roof. Took great pride removing to ensure everything works. When installing took my concerns and ideas and resolved them for a much nicer layout. I highly recommend them!! There team from start to finish was very professional and explained each thing they were doing. A++++++++++

We've had our panels up and running now for 3 months now. Jeff and his team have been great at setting expectations and responsive to my 100s of questions I had through out the process. They went above and beyond in their patience as well, as we were using the new Canada Greener Homes Initiative. The only issue we had was a delay in hooking up to the grid, but that was an Ottawa Hydro issue, and not Ottawa valley solar. I'd recommend them to anyone considering solar.

If I could give a rating higher than 5 I would. Richard installed a full solar system for some family and went above and beyond. A few issues arose not related to the system and he helped sort the issues. The back up generator malfunctioned after only 6 months and Generac refused to warranty it on a technicality. Richard has worked with the family to ensure they are not without power as they are totally offgrid to rectify the issue. He has also worked hard to assist with issues above and beyond his scope of work (shoddy tie in work by another contractor). If you are considering solar, I wouldnt consider anywhere else if you want a comprehensive, knowledgeable customer service driven company.

Mitch and his team go above and beyond whenever we need anything at Meraki Solar. They stay on top of our needs updating us at every step along the way, which is refreshing. I’d highly suggest doing business with SunHub.

We visited the place for our project purpose and Michael helped us in finding all the relevant information and documentation so precisely and accurately, he is really a great guy to be around.

As this was our 2nd solar installation , i now have much more experience and have something to compare to. Steve and Solar Associates are the best . They make the previous solar installers that we dealt with look like Neanderthals. The installation was perfect and resulted in MUCH higher output and therefore made more money every month . The updated panels are much more efficient as Steve said they would be and resulted in a much cleaner installation with the string inverter system-no more big boxes mounted on the wall ! Steve and Solar Associates were a joy to work with as well as very professional . THANK YOU very much for a great solar experience

Thankyou Solarmax! It was over 5 years ago that we installed our first set of 45 panels and I am proud to say I was one of their first customers. I was so impressed with the performance, features, and service that two years later Solarmax added 25 more panels to my house! The team at Solarmax was great to work with. They know their stuff, did what they said they would do, and helped complete the permitting process with the utility. Here's what I like about solar panels: They basically don't wear out. There are no moving parts (like bearing on wind turbines) to maintain or replace. You put solar panels up and for the most part forget about them. Rain rinses them off, keeps them clean, and you get lots of kilowatt hours in return! You won't find the long warranty associated with solar panels on any other form of electrical generation. What about the cost? They have come down significantly over the years. Federal credits and state subsidized low interest loans are still available. Think of this though, just like any part of your home (well, septic, roof) the purchase is a long term investment but here is the catch, after 6 or 7 years you roof, well, or septic doesn't start paying you! Long after the panels have paid you back with electrical savings and maybe even some SRECs (solar renewable energy credits) they keep making electricity. As the cost of electricity goes up the value of the electricity your panels make goes up! Then there is the cool factor. You get your own website to track the performance of the system provided by the manufacturer. Pull your website up and show your friends and family. See how much power it is producing right now or over the last day, month, or year. The manufacturer can even monitor and troubleshoot each individual panel remotely because each one of the solar panels is its own little independent generating station (snow on one panel doesn't impact the rest of the panels). Lastly, knowing I am reducing pollution and the need for fossil fuels whether it be coal, gas, or oil makes me feel good! So get a hold of Solarmax and have them check out your home.
