This Michaels location has less-hectic parking than some of the other Michaels store in Calgary. Lots of selection and you can usually find things in stock here compared to the one in Beacon Hills. Like other stores, they have kids mini craft events that cost only $2 every Saturday for kids ages 3 and up. Supposedly you can drop your child off at the craft event and you can go shopping within Michaels, but there is only 1 staff running the event and if they have more than 3 kids, there's no way that one staff can help your child if s/he needs help doing the craft. They have an app that lets you check for sales, coupons, and craft events. They always have at least 40% off one item coupon so ensure to use that coupon when shopping at Michaels.

Really snoty sales people.

Good fabric

I purchased 3 custom made couches after consulting with George about the style and fabric and was very happy when they arrived at my door. Within 2 weeks the cushion fabric was twisting and after showing George at Designer Library the cushions,he denied that it was the sewing of the cushions but the fabric itself. Something he never mentioned when he was helping me choose the fabric! After looking at these expensive awful custom couches, I took the cushions in for 2 different opinions both stated it was the sewing of the cushions that had done this. My designer went back and they have refused to fix the problem, so I am ordering all new fabric and having them re-sew cushions at my own expense of over $4000.00. BEWARE- he promises a lot and delivers little!

We’ve bought 3 sets of furniture over the past 20 years from Reside Furnishings. Both the quality of the furniture and the service we’ve experienced there are second to none! Debbie was the salesperson for our most recent purchase and she was fantastic to work with when customizing our sectional.

Always have everything we're looking for!! The staff is a pleasure to deal with as well. Have been coming here for years and will use them for years to come.

Great place to find every craft items needed. Although they do not carry all the items you would need to make bath bombs. They have kits for kids but not when you need citric acid.

I've been using the repair facility at this shop for 10 years. As a result of the service shop attached, I have purchased lessons and bought additional supplies and software. The Service Technicians are incredibly knowledgable, they are able to solve problems others can not. Steve is especially an asset to this business. Husqvarna sewing machine service and repair is the best in Alberta! I drive from another large city just to spend my repair money at this store.

Really neat store, I came in to pick up some leather dye and wound up making plans to go to one of their classes, and potentially make myself a wallet with one of their kits later in the year! I'm very excited about the prospect, and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a membership program with two tiers, the top tier is free for first responders, which I think is a great practice.

Campers Village on 170 St. suggested I come to Tangerine Foam, and I'm glad I did. Jacki helped me outfit my SUV with a foam mattress, expertly and with patience. And the cost was much less than what I was quoted by a foam place I used to go to on Argyll Rd.

Layfield found me in Rocky Mountain House after recently moving here from Edmonton with a big job on the go, with past experience in the liner industry they were intrigued and prepared to make me an offer. They were willing and ready to make me apart of their team 🙂
