If you're a domestic customer then don't waste your time here. They give the very good impression that they are not remotely interested in your custom by being shut Saturdays and Sundays and failing to respond to emails. We went to 'Floors for Thought' on Battersea Rise instead, who are not only open at the weekend but also staffed by people who are genuinely interested in selling you a carpet.

We recently had the carpets in our office done and we initially hired them because they offered the best price for the work but we were really impressed with the work they did. They came in over the weekend and without removing or disrupting any of our phones, computer cables, etc the carpets were removed and changed. We could not recommend them enough.

I used this service when fitting vinyl flooring in my old flat. When I went into the store the first time, I looked around the dirty place and asked the owner if it would be done properly. He got offended and said this is a proper establishment and he is not selling things on the street (but he has shoes for sale outside his shop...lol). Anyway, they did the bedroom first which went fine and the contractor was really nice. Then i decided to get the living room done after a few months. He charged me a bit more this time as he saw I came back but I ignored it due to the good service. I was given next day service and was told the contractor would be there between 10am to 5pm. So I moved everything out of the room and waited and waited till 4:30pm. I called the store to ask if the contractor was coming and the owner was completely surprised by my call. He covered up by saying the contractor had an emergency and had to go to the hospital. I said that he should have let me know as I was waiting all day. The next day the contractor came and I asked him if he was ok as I heard he went to the hospital. He replied no, he was working up north in Peterborough that day. After this experience I was completely put off by the store owners professionalism. I needed to get my new home done but I never went back to this place.

We trusted Selby to change the carpet at our office and the result was great! We are very pleased. The management and the team did a great job, smooth and professional. We will definitely choose them in the future.

Price competitive. They came the day they said they would. Took a little longer than they said it would but the workman ship was superb. They left the rooms clean and tidy at the end of the every day and dusted when they had finished. I am very pleased with the job. They remove all the old skirting boards laid a new Kahrs 15mm Oak floor on 5mm Timbertech Acoustic Plus underlay in the lounge, hall and office. Lifting and disposing of the old carpet and underlay.
