My garage door was so noisy that I thought I have to change everything. I called Medina and with a new motor and a few adjustments it is a total new situation. Very knowledgeable, not pushy, friendly and a follow up call...... a pleasant experience. I would totally recommend.

With Certified Garage Door Repair Markham you don't have to call and call again to check whether the technicians has been dispatched or why they didn't show up in the appointment. These guys are totally professionals and always on time. I realized that when I got fed up with the previous garage door company I used to work with and called Homeland for some cable problems. The response was immediate and calling them twice never crossed my mind. They came over right away.

Quick and helpful! My garage door spring snapped and I emailed them the night of. In the morning I get an email saying that they are available to help. I called them, told them it was a double garage door, and the lady on the phone (I didn't get her name), said that she has someone in the area who can help. 30 minutes later, I get a knock on my door. He tells me (again, I didn't get a name), it will take him 30 minutes or so. Very responsive and made my day go so much more smoother! Great job!

When my friend gave me the business card of Garage Doors Repair Markham, I didn't expect that I would need their services that soon but the garage door at home got too noisy. I had to do something about it and called them up. I loved that the technicians came right on time and did bring with them their equipment. They checked and lubricated the garage door parts and truly the noise was almost gone. I couldn't expect a miracle since the door is old but the garage door service was perfect!

BUYERS BEWARE! Here is my story. Let me start by saying I have tried to resolve this issue on five (5) separate occasions before I posted my thoughts here. Sept. 16 2017: I came into Barmac and was treated very well by the sales staff at which point I purchased a garage door that was set to go into production on Oct. 3 2017. I received a install date of Oct. 20 2017. Oct 17: I called to ensure my scheduled appointment was confirmed, at which point I was informed that there is a delay in the production of the door and it will now be Nov. 19 when the door will be ready. I accepted as I am aware that this can happen sometimes. Nov 17 2017: I called to make sure my door was going to be ready and to ensure I take the day off to have the door installed. I received information that this date is no longer in place as there is more of a delay and that it will be the end of December. Dec. 9 2017: I call again to get an update and at this point I am being treated like I am a bother to them. I am now informed that my order is not even placed and at this point they can no longer give me a set date for an install. I was leaving on vacation so I said I would call back when I got home. Dec. 14 2017: I called to see if there is any update. No update. Still not date being offered. I asked the sales rep to speak to management to offer me a solution to this. Maybe upgrade me to a door that is in stock. I am told I would receive a call back the next day with information. Dec 17 2017: Still haven't heard back from Barmac so I decide to call them. I am told they will have an answer for me on Monday. Dec. 19 2017 (Tuesday): Did not hear back from Barmac on the Monday. My calls are now going unanswered. Still not word on when or if I will be getting a garage door that I ordered and paid for three months prior! This is a very unprofessional business with terrible customer service. Once my order was placed I was no longer a priority or a concern of theirs. I became just a bother to them. I am expecting a resolution to this but am not holding my breath at this point. There are many other garage door companies that will treat you like a real person and a real customer. Your time is not valued here. Very disappointing.

I had contacted Barmac to make me a custom wood garage door for my new home. They suggested a wood composite overlay door so that I can get a fully customizable panel (which I basically handed the design to them) Door shows up and it was terrible. They used probably the cheapest mdf you can buy, all the edges are rough and very jagged. It took the installer 3 attempts to get it installed and it looks like absolute garbage. Doesn't even close probably and sometimes it goes back up when going down. If I had another $2500 to burn, I would get the thing ripped out and replaced by a better company. (which I found and the guy who came to see my door basically laughed at the it) Barmac may be good for some builders special door, but on a million dollar plus home, look elsewhere UPDATE Feb. 2018. Look at their reply to my review. Shows their true colours. An apology if you can even call it that, and THAT'S IT. They can't even be bothered to fix the door. You guys are a joke.

My garage door closes part way, and then opens again. It turned out that it had a bent garage door track. I was so stressed out.
