I waited for almost an hour before being seen. When the doctor finally saw me he dismissed my input and told me everything looks fine. Never got any results, reports, or follow up of any kind. Totally unprofessional atmosphere. DO NOT VISIT THEM

Adam was a huge help in helping my mom receive her first hearing aid. It was a rough process being my mom has her pride, but Adam made her feel quite comfortable and was awesome throughout the whole process. Thanks for being a great guy!

I was assured initially that my hearing aid could be fixed - a broken wire; $95-125, however Heather, the young woman who interacted with me charged $250. When I questioned the amount, she replied " it might be more than the wire" Further, she didn't have the software or parts and had to send my hearing aid somewhere else. 10 business days, plus she was going on a Birthday getaway that extended the time. She checked my other aid and replaced the rubber tip. At this point, I noticed a severe loss of hearing in this device. It was so severe, I returned 2 days later to see if Heather couldn't tweak the volume. Apart from saying repeatedly "it wasn't anything I did" she was unable to increase volume, citing lack of software. At that time, I genuinely believed that she hadn't deliberately sabotaged my one good device; however, I did believe she had inadvertently reduced the efficiency. There was no attempt to correct the volume; instead, she rolled out excuses - wax in my ears, rubber tip not up to speed. Went to my doctor - no discernible wax. Finally today the repaired device was returned - works O.K., but the price was still $250. This time her rationale was that this supplier charges her $200. And she didn't budge about the wax issue even being told about the doctor exam. To sum up, this business has no discernible integrity. I was never given an itemized repair bill. When I first went for a hearing test. I was in denial I don't need this. After hearing test Advanced Tech loaned me a pair of hearing aids to try for a week. I could not believe what I was hearing. I was hearing sounds I have not heard for years. I am now on my third set of hearing aids. The technology keeps advancing. So don't put it off see them if you have problems hearing or answering what to people all the time. You will be amazed. I was in my late 30 when I got my first pair. I needed to get retested because my old aids were not letting me hear as well as I would have liked. My wife and mother-in-law both use central penn so i tried and was very pleased with the service I received. Would recommend central pa to anyone wishing to get tested.
