Steven and I can not say enough great things about our renovation experience with Cal and the Crew from Home Style. The work they did is superb and has enhanced our home greatly. Cal was fun to work with and helped me in making the choices of cabinets, counters etc. very easy. We were maybe classed as a smaller job but we were made to feel very important. The Crew did such quality work, always on time, never left a mess and they liked our dog. We had a tight budget and Cal was always aware of that and he brought the whole project in under budget making sure there was a buffer incase I made any changes. This was such a wonderful experience I am already preparing for round 2 and look forward to working with them again. Allison and Steven MacLeod

I have just past the one year anniversary of being in my new home - and I could not be more pleased with my decision to purchase with Impact. After living here over the past year, I can confidently say that this is a quality build. I have no doubt that this house will serve me well over the years. The owner and staff of Impact (Ray, John, Gary, Jillian, Nicole and the countless tradespeople that put this house together) are the ultimate professionals and masters at what they do. I know how daunting and overwhelming it can be to filter through the world of home builders - I have learned through experience that Impact is a stand out.

I have had the opportunity to work with De Waal Developments on a six of his projects and am always appreciative of how invested the owner, Koen De Waal, is with each project. He creates original spaces by sourcing out beautiful products and creative solutions that focus on environmental stewardship. Every project is a balance of style, function and budget- and Koen takes the time to discover what his clients balance is, working to achieve their goals and create beautiful unique homes. I highly recommend De Waal Developments. His ethical approach reinforces the enormous amount of trust clients place in their builders.

"Urban Sky has been a great way to grow my investments! Tom and his team are experienced, dedicated, and always make sure that I receive project updates along the way. I would recommend others to consider Urban Sky Developments."

Entered into a 'design only' agreement with Aquarian in September 2019. I paid a little over $10,000. We discussed the budget and proceeded. A little over a year later the estimate arrived and it was almost twice what we had originally discussed. There were lots of problems after this. Reviewing the estimate, I saw the cost for new cabinets was around $52k. I asked them to get a competitive quotation and they refused. The construction drawings had dimension errors on them, sent an email and asked them to correct it, no response. These were right off the RPR supplied a year earlier. The building permit was rejected by the City because the design did not meet zoning requirements, sent an email and asked Aquarian to fix them, no response. And it went on and on, issues with asbestos removal, blank checks written into the scope of the contract, more issues than I have the space to list them all. At the end Aquarian sent me an email and informed me that they were ‘closing my file’ due to ‘

The Gentry Homes team is great! They have done a few projects for me including a commercial renovation on a tight timeline in a historic building & two residential infills in Millcreek. They were always on the ball with all the trades and kept the projects on budget and on time. I refer them to everyone I know who needs a contractor and I can't say enough about them and their work ethic. Personally or through my business I would love to have them on any of my projects in the future.
