Locked my keys out of my truck with my wallet inside. They told me that they needed a credit card so they could charge their fee. I told them that I locked my wallet in the truck and the lady said oh well and hung up the phone. Never will I do business with these people nor recommend theme to anyone.

Got the scratch off my shoe.

My wife left an earlier negative review based on what she saw when she got home from a long day of work without first hearing the full story, so lets hear the other end of it. I called SafeKey First Locksmith out because I had a gun safe with a combination dial that I couldn't get open. I had called several other places that either didn't get back to me or didn't do safes. They were the first place to respond positively, and they arrived within the hour (even quicker than they had promised). When the technician first arrived, he spent a good thirty minutes trying to open the safe without drilling. When that failed, he asked for my permission to start drilling a small hole into the side of the safe, and I agreed. Another thirty minutes later he ran into complications and asked to drill a slightly larger hole and I agreed. Thirty more minutes later he said he was going to have to make an even bigger hole to get in, and I agreed. After a final thirty minutes he was in, and told me the reason I couldn't get into the safe and he had so many difficulties was because the lock cams were jammed. Even though they took much longer than anticipated, they still charged me the same flat rate. The technician then offered to clean up the mess if I had cleaning supplies he could borrow, which I did, not so I sent him on his way. Yes, the operation was messier and more brute force than I had hoped. But it was not entirely unexpected. The technician was courteous, giving me updates and asking for my permission every step of the way. I could have said no and sent him home, but I made the decision to continue. I am perfectly content with the service I received.

Blast from the past! Service from folks who know more than an aisle number. I was treated better than expected for a $10 handful of specialty stainless steel screws. This place has has the feel, sound, and smell of a hardware store of my childhood. They have inventory from floor to ceiling, so they probably have exactly what you need. Turn back the clock and enjoy the personal service that is so rare today.
