Martial Arts

Asian Arts and Health Center is an exceptional Gung Fu school. The school is run in a friendly yet traditional manner, or as traditional as current times allow. The school as a whole works like one big family. Not only is Si-fu Scott an expert in Gung Fu and traditional Tai Chi, but he is also an excellent teacher. Si-fu helps us understand vital nuances in our techniques that are often overlooked by many other teachers. It is obvious that Si-fu Scott enjoys teaching and simply wants to pass down his knowledge and isn’t trying to get rich off the school. Because of this, Si-fu Scott holds his students to very high expectations when it comes to commitment and loyalty. Si-fu is also knowledgeable about traditional Chinese medicine which is great at helping his students with the strains associated with conditioning during training. Si-Fu Scott requires all of his students to learn and uphold the principles, philosophies, and good moral teachings behind Chinese martial arts. If you’re looking for a school to train world class martial arts useful in real life survival situations, then this is the school for you.

This school is amazing. The instructors are committed to teaching your kids so much more than just taekwondo. The school and the facilities are always kept clean.

This school offers a variety of forms whether its Brazilian jujitsu, Judo, Capoeira, Fitness or Boxing/Mixed Martial Arts Master Wadley and his instructors are very knowledgeable and stress the basics needed for every form. There is no pressure to do anything you don't want to do but when you're determined the instructors and students are there with you every step!

He has taught three generation of my family me my daughters and now my grand children he is great instructor ,where your young or old it does not matter he teaches by your ability as to what you can do.

Me and my son we both love training here. Master Yu was very flexible with schedules which is giving me the opportunity to learn self defense. Thanks to all professors in there for being so nice with us

My son earned his black belt and as a result his confidence, school grades have shot up. He always has a positive and up beat attitude. He now is an instructor and has continued his positive attitude. GREAT SCHOOL in Pearland.

My kids go here and love it! Great people, great environment.

My son has been with this school for over 7 years. This school is managed extremely efficiently. Classes begin and end promptly on time. While students are challenged, I believe each student is seen as an individual with personal strengths and weaknesses taken into account. It is an honor for my son to be taught by Mr. Perez. There is no question that my son will grow to be a better man for the time he has spent with Mr. Perez. I am amazed at what the students can physically do, and equally so with the quality of character seen in the students who have spent much time in this school. Not only is this experience life changing while enrolled, but the lessons learned here will be carried through all stages of life. I highly recommend Denison Family Karate Center.

A very warm and friendly environment for for all ages. A great place to learn martial arts and make life long lasting friendships
