Martial Arts

I had the privilege of rolling in a class at the Dallas Marcelo Garcia Dojo while on a short visit in the area. I can not say enough about how welcoming the Dojo was. The skill level was remarkably high across the board. Even though I was a visitor, Professor Rob Ables and his assistant instructors showed great effort to help me improve my technique. If I lived in Dallas, I would roll at Marcelo Garcia Dallas.

Excellent trainers, especially with kids

Dojo Fit is a great family experience. My daughter takes Geoff's Karate class in the evenings and loves it. Geoff does a great job engaging the kids and is a wonderful teacher. Soon afterward my daughter began Karate, I started going to FIT training at the Dojo. I have spent many years donating to a gym but never feeling like I got my moneys worth. With the FIT classes I show up and work out and feel great. I do not have to wonder what exercises to do that day, how many reps, etc etc. The classes are all laid out ahead of time and change every few weeks. I feel better than I have in years.

Beginning my third year of training here in Karate and Muay Thai. My daughters are beginning their 2 year in karate. The instructors are great, the overall class sizes are within normal range of any other martial art schools. My girls and I love it here. As far as the comments of it being a cardio class for 45 mins is funny to me, you do need cardio in order to perform and build skill levels. The skill set here allows you to experience multiple type of martial arts not just one! And yes it takes a while to get a black belt, if you want your little one to have a black belt in a year, choose another option. Contract for me wasn’t a problem, it states it very clearly on the entire back page, if you need to cancel you HAVE to send a certified letter this is not only to protect you as far as date in which you requested, but also to hold the company responsible if there is any errors. Everything needs to be in writing.

My 7 year old son has been going to Tiger Rock for the last year and what a difference it has made in his confidence and self esteem. The instructors there are all wonderful and the school is awesome. This has been one of the best decisions for him to attend and to see him flourish and feel more self confidence has been wonderful for us to see.

You can't find a better after school program or summer camp for the price and what your kids will get out of it (way more than a Black Belt) Master Tripp Davis is Karate instructor by trade but walks in the light and along with his wife Master Jennifer Davis

Great instructors!!!

I consider McCall MMA family. I moved here in 2014 as a blue belt and was searching for a school to continue my lifelong journey in BJJ and found it! The owner, Professor Darren McCall is not only a black belt in BJJ but also in Judo. There are a variety of top notch belts of all ranks and sizes to match your style of BJJ. Technique is key in BJJ and that is what is emphasized. What i found particularly impressive is that the school teaches techniques geared towards all sizes and styles of BJJ to add to your game. Though I am 150 lbs and the professor is 200s+, his ability to teach a "small" persons game is quite impressive. In summary, I found a place I call family here and will continue to grow my BJJ game. Competition, hobby, or fitness, this is the place to train at! Make your BJJ home here and you will see what i mean! See ya on the mats!

Great instructors, the Master is a very humble man which lets you know he loves to teach what he knows. Everyone is like a big family there.

Kingwood Mixed Martial Arts is an outstanding training facility. The instructor Tom is very hands on and caring. He works closely with all his students and individually if needed. I highly recommend this facility.

Not only are the instructors excellent, but the staff makes you feel like you are family. This form of Martial Arts is sophisticated, challenging and habit forming. Definitely worth joining.

Had my kids enrolled here and they really enjoyed it. They really liked the classes and i liked that they prayed at the end of every class.

Top notch facility, with programs for the entire family. Full sized boxing ring, cage, and enormous mat area. One of the best and largest facilities in Houston.
