FEKS is family owned and operated and is very welcoming. Both my wife and I love taking classes at FEKS.

I have been with Mr. Tim since the very beginning of the program. I love being here and doing class. I have a blast all the time. I am super happy that Mr. Robert is back to teach! :)

Great Gym, with a welcoming atmosphere. I would encourage anyone looking to get into BJJ to check out Vanguard. This place is top notch.

I have been with Manassas Martial Arts for over 15 years. The studio and teaching style are great for people who want to learn martial arts, but not get bet up in the process. I've seen people with with physical limitations and old injuries study here and the instructor works one-on-one with students who have difficulty with techniques. If you are not sure if this is the place for you, come in and observe a class. There are plenty of chairs for spectators and the instructor is always approachable.

I’ve said it many times before, but I will say it again – a very important chapter of our lives started on the day we walked through K-Zone Taekwondo doors and met you. While we had no particular expectations when we came to you, nor truly any knowledge of taekwondo values, you have given us more than we could have ever hoped for. We have known you for over 5 years now and are still in awe of your daily dedication, guidance and support. Your impact on Michael and our family as a whole is undeniable and deeply valued. It is so empowering to have you support us in raising Michael to be a better person. While you are teaching him, we, as parents, are growing as well. We gained new perspective, motivation and understanding of discipline. Both of you are amazing role models for your students, because “you practice what you preach” physically, mentally and spiritually. I am so thankful that Michael has the opportunity to be around you. The discipline, respect and sense of responsibility you instill in your students travel far beyond your doors. We watch Michael apply what he learned at K-Zone at home, school and everywhere else. You are teaching him so many important lifelong lessons, always kind with praise and firm and patient when needed. It is touching to watch you turn every bump Michael encounters into a valuable experience to reflect upon. Your approach of building Michael up, not tearing him down, has done wonders in giving him confidence to achieve goals he'd have likely given up on and teaching him how to treat others. Thank you for helping us to shape our boy into a soon-to-be young man with healthy body, strong moral compass and self-motivated character. I hope that you know how enormous your influence is on those around you and onto this world and how deeply we treasure K-Zone Taekwondo and its family.

No other school is suitable for me besides TMA

Here's the deal: I went to this karate academy and I DID NOT have a good experience with a few of the teachers. There was one teacher a few years ago that was amazing, but they fired her for reasons that the owner won't disclose. After the teacher was fired, it went downhill from there. During the last couple of years that I took karate here (I was there for 8 years, mind you), I was taught under one specific teacher. From now on, I'll call him "the instructor". I am a very introverted and a little shy, so talking to people and showing what I've learned isn't always easy for me. The instructor would make fun of me for not completely putting myself out there, which just made it harder for me. He also didn't just belittle me, he belittled other students as well! This went on from roughly summer 2013 to spring 2016. By 2016, I had enough and quit karate. I haven't seen or heard from the instructor since. More recently, I stalked the instructor On Facebook. I saw that he liked a few female porn stars online. I know anybody's allowed to watch whatever they want, but I do NOT think it's ok for an adult who watches porn to be working with kids. If anyone wants proof that he likes porn on Facebook, I have screenshots. Another thing: At my high school youth group, me and other teens were shown into a video series to teach us different types of abuse and signs of it. We learned about the signs adults show to kids when they have intentions to abuse them, whether it's physical, emotional, or sexual. The instructor began showing some of those signs, specifically to me. For example, he would touch me unsolicited and without reason (never in inappropriate places though), he would criticize me for things I could do better with encouragement instead of criticism (For example: strength or kicks). All in all, I think the instructor should be fired, but I know that's not my call to make.

My son has attended United Martial Arts (UMA) since 2005, when he started as a Little Tiger. He has risen to a 2nd degree black belt under the expert tutelage of Master Lee and his outstanding staff. Master Lee has an exceptional manner with children, providing the right amount of discipline with care that motivates his students to reach their goals. He has been an excellent role model for my son, and we consider the entire UMA staff close friends of the family. Thank you so much for many great years of fun and wisdom.

They have tought my children respect boosted their self esteems the roof! Their grades have improved & my house has become easier to control! Thank you MAS VA!!

This location has an amazing Dojang (work out area), both Master Yu and Master Hwang are great instructors, super friendly and really caring for the students. The after school program is really great, and the kids seem to be enjoying themselves. Would recommend, I'm very satisfied with the experience. 10/10.

Master Hoonie is awesome with all kids of kids with special needs! We started in Tiny Tigers and my son screamed and cried for 5 months straight. Master Hoonie and instructor Han were wonderful in encouraging me not to give up and keep bring him there. Master Hoonie would laugh and say the instructors would fight over who got to work with my screaming kid. Now my son is a green belt and cannot wait to do Tae Kwon Do every day!

Manassas MMA is a great place to learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu! Being a girl I was a little intimidated about going into a mixed class but everyone is so warm and welcoming. Instructors are patient and give advice to better your technique and are always willing to answer your questions. Very friendly and positive environment.

My son made it to green belt here. Excellent place to keep yourself and your family fit.
