I have been a student at this dojo for a few years now. As a woman, I have grown tremendously while training here. My personal growth is immeasurable. I am proud of my achievements in this art—my body feels great—and looks better than it has in years. I feel fit and full of energy. The instructors here are fantastic! The other students are amazing- an incredible supportive community. The kids program is the best I have seen. The kids get a lot of attention from the instructors, are not just lined up and told to punch and kick. These kids help each other, support each other and have a great time doing it. I watch them train prior to my class beginning and these kids are just amazing. They are taught respect for each other, their teachers, parents by following strict etiquette all while having fun. If you are looking for a place for yourself or your child, I would definitely take the time to go and watch a class. You will be amazed at the level of quality instruction, professionalism, and fun that you will witness.

I've had martial arts training for years, including Kung fu and tai chi. This is far and above the best training I've ever experienced.

The people here are family. We have several facilities near us but my daughter refuses to go anywhere else. She is hooked.

Trained here with my son for 2 years. I'm 47, took the adult class and got into the best shape of my life and we both learned valuable karate and boxing techniques. My son 12 when joined came in scared and timid. Two years later learned a lot and became very confident and saw a huge improvement. His grades went to almost all A'S from a C+ student. Why? Rising Sun Karate sensei's teach not only karate but also speak to them on respect and discipline. We left since we moved to Riverside. We will soon be taking karate where the UCR and UCI students attend since the martial arts are similar. I'm sure my son will see Rising Sun Karate again, hopefully in a tournament. Thank you Sensei Randy, Nick, and Michael. Highly recommend this dojo. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS.

A fun place with awesome instructors who teach kids and adults self defense. I took a few classes and had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn self defense.

Danny is not my name i am protecting my identity... The teaching and teachers are pretty nice and the students are weak. I doubt that more than 10 kids can do 5 push ups without falling down. The instructors need to enforce discipline more. (i can do 15 push ups btw)

Great family feeling between members & Instructors!!! Very Cool Kids Jujitsu program!!! The Kick Boxing & Conditioning class are a lot of fun and really work you out!!! Everyone has a great attitude!!! This place is AWESOME & I can not wait for my next class!!!
