This is Sifu Moses. I have been teaching Ving Tsun for over 10 years now. We are excited to be here and are looking for many more years to come. Come on down and experience real Kung Fu with us at River City Kung Fu.

I did a walk in at East-West Wing Chun Kung Fu and the students were very welcoming and supportive through the one and a half hour class. Sifu John Kang is very skilled and managed to interact with each student throughout the evening. Very enjoyable and very instructive. I would recommend them.

Master Gibson is an amazing and dedicated teacher. His commitment and philosophy go beyond your average dojo. Master Gibson has trained for over 35 years and brings a wealth of wisdom to all his classes and students. We feel very lucky to have him be part of our son's life.

I've been training Jiu-Jitsu for over 8 years and have had an opportunity to visit schools all up and down the east coast. BJJ Revolution-Richmond would be at the top of the list in regard to instruction, atmosphere, and facilities. The first moment I walked in thru BJJ Revolution's doors I was greeted by Andrew Smith, the head Jiu-Jitsu instructor. Andrew has an inviting and friendly personality and he is second to none in his teaching capabilities. His extensive competitive career on the mat only further strengthens those teaching skills. The atmosphere at BJJ Revolution is amazing. The training is intense, but remarkably technical, and everyone is constantly pushing each other to get better. I have learned a lot just from training with the other students there. All are helpful and friendly and I believe this is a direct reflection of Andrew and his fellow instructors. The facilities are spacious and kept very clean. There is a large matted space and changing room and shower on site. I would highly recommend BJJ Revolution to anyone interested in training Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, or Muay Thai.

Training at Richmond BJJ has been and continues to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I came to the academy with zero experience in martial arts and have now been training for a little over a year (August 2016). The instruction is highly technical but easy for beginners to learn. Eric and Liz have an incredibly contagious passion for BJJ, their energy has clearly been extended to each student's attitude and love towards the art. The community at Richmond BJJ is welcoming and friendly, everyone's got each others backs. With each class and each roll, we pull each other up to become better than the day before. There is too much I could say for what training here has done for my personal growth: I'm putting more confidence in myself every day, I've lost 40 pounds since I started training, and I'm healthier mentally & emotionally than ever before. For anyone like me who is shy/timid/quite but want to learn BJJ, I can't recommend Richmond BJJ enough! You'll be taken care of by the finest instructors and make great friends with all of your training partners.

Love this place.... here your instructors not only teach you but they care. Each one of them make sure you receive the training necessary to be successful at protecting yourself.

Signed up my daughter a few months back to help with discipline and conditioning. My expectations have been exceeded. So much that I signed up myself. Great staff, and great school.

My son has been attending the after school program since Kindergarten, and is now in the 6th grade. We have been very happy with their program and have found their staff to be very professional and accommodating.
