Sensei Eliot and Sensei Lisa are great Martial Art teacher, the kids program is amazing, both Sensei know how to engage with the kids. I recommend Energy Karate with my eyes close.

I have been attending MTN for over a year now and I can't imagine what my life would be like without the coaches ..... Kru Roger, Coach Robyn, Coach Mark, Coach Insa, Coach Anthony and this facility. It has become my home away from home. A place where I feel safe, accepted and challenged to achieve the goals that I have set for myself! I started by attending a Ladies Self Defense class last year, where the main message from Kru Roger was to make good, safe choices. We were shown techniques that would help us if we found ourselves in a difficult situation, but Kru Roger could not emphasize enough the importance of making good choices. All of the Coaches at MTN continually show and teach respect, care and concern for each other and all of their members. Muay Thai Niagara is terrific!

Dropped in for a nogi class while visiting family for xmas. First off, this is the nicest facility I've ever trained at: 2 large mat spaces, a ring, a lounge, gym equipment area, clean bathrooms, showers. Everyone was very welcoming. The BJJ instructor, Vince, taught some Williams guard techniques including a slick choke I've never seen before. Got in a few good rolls and overall it was a very enjoyable visit. I'll probably be back next xmas!

This is the best damn gym in the city. The coaches, members, parents and community are amazing. I've lost 100lbs training here, found a new passion in life and made life long connections. I highly recommend this gym.

I have been a student at this gym for about 3 months now and have been coming to classes regularly. The coaches here and the classes they provide are for the experienced and also inexperienced. One thing I’ve noticed with the BJJ and Muay Thai classes is that they use a system(curriculum) that is intended for all purposes, whether it’s a mixed martial arts competition or defending yourself. The coaches here believe that whatever is useful we keep, and whatever isn’t we discard. The first time I stepped into SBG, I noticed the colourful framed pictures on the walls, the “no footwear beyond this point—“ across the entrance floor, and the aesthetically pleasing yellow mats- which to me gave me a vibe that made me feel welcomed. With the sound of the door entrance ring, I was greeted by Head Coach/Teacher Jun. Anyways, long story short. I believe in SBG, and SBG believes in their students. “One tribe one vibe” is one of their quotes and I certainly feel it here. If you have the slight itch to try something new and that this gym is accessible, they currently have a 7 day trial for all classes. The space here is a judgement free zone, whether you have skills or don’t, this is the safest place to express yourself. Thanks SBG!! See you all on the mats 🤙

Facility is clean and well kept. The leaders are pretty great individuals. My daughters have all enjoyed their time there.

Amazing Karate School stacked with history that continually encourages young and old alike to acheive their goals in or out of the Dojo.......40000+ students both Canadian and International testify what a center of excellence Wongs' Karate continues to be. All 3 of my children have attended Wongs and all 3 have benefitted immensely from the instruction and guidance shared by the Sensei.
