The Instructors are great and patient I would recommend this school to everyone

***UPDATE*** Another year has passed and my kids are still students of the greatest Martial Arts teacher ever! My oldest started in 4th grade and she is now in 7th. A lot changes in 3 years but this school has stayed a constant for her, she has had many challenges both physically and emotionally (as most kids do transitioning to the teen years). What she has learned here has taught her to succeed in many areas of her life because Self Discipline is not just for the mat. She is more physically fit than many of her peers, and I love that it’s an all year program. She has started the Yoga class too and really likes it, she talks about “feeling it” the next day! My 7 year old son is my daughters polar opposite, not what I would call conventionally sporty, physical aptitude is not his strong point. He would be perfectly content reading or playing anything Minecraft. When he started he couldn’t even jump over a stick 6 inches off the ground, he now has more confidence to reach his personal best. He’s learning to take disappointment in stride and to keep working at it, push through and not give up. Master Paul and his wife Jennifer have influenced both my kids lives in the most positive way! I am so glad I found this school, my kids are truly growing up here. I first started my oldest child about a year ago, then my youngest child this past summer. Both kids have learned both physical and emotional lessons, to push through and persevere. Love love love this school and its owners! They truly take interest in their students!

We Love this place! Excellent instructors with a great environment! Definitely would recommend this place if your looking to learn Jiu-Jitsu.

I cannot recommend Mr.SENSEI Paul enough. He is FANTASTIC with kids and adults. He is always friendly from the minute you walk in the door. The detail he gives in his instructions/lessons are very thorough. My child has ADHD (and I do not medicate him) and he has made vast improvements, both socially and academically, with the help of Mr.SENSEI Paul. He also makes sure that everyone knows each other and has created a family atmosphere. I guarantee if you come to class you will make friends, learn a skill and have fun. Mr.SENSEI Paul also has many events through out the year--blow darts, Star Wars days--through out the year. I would highly recommend coming to this school if you want to learn karate. As for the NEGATIVE comment that was posted obviously she ought to reevaluate her parenting because i am a witness to the fact that her children are disrespectful and hardly paid attention to our drills and they showed lack of perseverance . As for the belt ranking why would you be so worried about the (stripped) belt , or (in-between)belt what matters most is the accomplishment and accuracy the individual makes to DESERVE their higher solid color belt rank ! Lastly Shelby Martial Arts agreement is fair and well explained on what is expected of each individual. Its a school of learning not slacking and laziness! I highly recommend Shelby Martial Arts come on in and see for yourself !

Excellent place to train with top notch instruction in self-defense. My wife and I have been coming here for years. If you want to get or stay in shape while learning self-defense, this is the place to go. Highly recommended for people of all ages.

Terrible people who block and threaten anybody who doesn't agree with them, gives them negative feedback. Very immature business practices.

Halle Bros. Fitness and Nutrition is a 5 star training facility in our eyes. Six months ago, we met with Will to discuss a lifting & training program that would benefit our own personal goals. We were quite impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and willingness to work with us towards our individual goals. We have been training biweekly with Will for 5 months now. We are extremely impressed with his workout sessions he has designed for us. During our workouts, we have Will's undivided attention for the full hour workout.Up to date...our entire family has purchased packages with Halle Bros. for each of our own individual goals. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!

My son has attended this school for 6 years. The Sensei's here are amazing with the kids. They go above and beyond to help these kids not just in class but in guidance in everyday life as well!
