Great friendly staff

Good service

This location isn't as beautiful or up to date visually. However, I've found the service and staff at this RBC location to be the best in St John's!

After having a terrible experience with Alterra Home Loans in Tukwila, I called Academy Mortgage. I was pregnant with my 3rd baby, and I was miserable because the baby could come any day and we needed a home fast, but our deal fell through because of Alterra's unprofessionalism. Fortunately, Academy Mortgage saved the day. Kim Wolcott and her son were absolutely amazing, and we closed within 30 days. Unfortunately, my baby came early, but luckily, we were in our new home as soon as we closed. I will definitely be working with them for future refinancing or purchases, and I will recommend them to everyone I know!

If I could rate Faith higher than an "A" I would do it instantly. She is super responsive, very friendly but also professional and above all she is intelligent and great at her job. My husband and I were very nervous about buying our first home. How much money could we borrow? How much could we afford per month? Would we have to move to Gresham? Once we met with her for the first time we were completely at ease. She didn't blink when we brought our crabby, 3 month old to the first meeting. She followed up on all loose ends immediately and she explained everything that was happening to us and for us. My mother is actually moving to Portland in the summer of 2016 and I have already put her into contact with Faith. 10 out of 10 stars; we will definitely use her again for our next home.
