Ali took time to understand our situation and requirements and was then always patient,courteous and helpful...as well as finding the best mortgage for us and ensuring it all got set up ready for our purchase.

I am a little older than the average person who 'remortages'. The banks told me it couldnt be done. I had to look elsewhere. Here I am with Mike. He is second to none, and I have my solution. WOW!

Avoid this bank at all costs! So awful I would have given no stars but can only post this by giving one star! As a potential new Coop customer as I was, you are expected to divulge ALL your personal financial information . this will take 45 minutes. If you decide that giving all this info is too intrusive you can't open an account and/or If you ask to withdraw your answers and not leave them in the bank you can't do that either. If you pick up the paper they are written on as you believe that this private and confidential information is your property then the manager Jo Menzies, will snatch and tear the paper from your hand refusing to let you destroy it yourself. She will insist it is now bank property. She will tell you it will be shredded but she will not let you witness this. You will however have wasted an hour of your time and have given your heart a good workout as it will be pounding inside your chest as mine was. Needless to say I did not open the account. I went to the Yorkshire building society the following day with my £10K and opened an instant access account with the same rate of interest with no fuss, no intrusive questioning and I was treated as a valued customer. No wonder Coop are going down the pan.

Used 5 or 6 times now and been great. And free.. If you want to use a local broker that will charge then up too you. Maybe some people have had problems because they have not be honest with initial disclosure of income ect. Just a guess can only speak of personal experience.

Myself and my partner could not have wished for a more supportive, responsive and skilled mortgage broker. Yasar is fantastic at his job and a really nice guy to do business with. I would definitely recommend Yas to anyone.

I came in and spoke to Nikki who took care of everything from start to finish. She managed all my expectations and my whole application explaining everything to me in a way that I could understand it. I was able to give my input and we both came to a decision that best suited me. My case was rather difficult but Nikki made sure to find the provider that was perfect for my case and situation. I used to think brokers were a scam but now understand that they're there to help you find a lender that works for your situation. Without Nikki I wouldn't have the home I do now.

Great service from the start. Had our own independent advisor who worked closely with us from AIP to full application. Constantly getting updates when available. Can't have anything bad to say about the whole experience with Habito. Would highly recommend them to anyone who has reservations or concerns about obtaining a mortgage. Can't thank them enough 😁
