Friendly staff

We met with Matt to discuss him assisting us with our mortgage renewal to find the best rates. We met with him before moving abroad as our mortgage was set to renew while living abroad. He was very friendly at our first meeting and agreed to help us. After our initial communication, Matt took days to weeks to answer our emails after several follow up emails, would not return our phone calls, and only ultimately returned our phone calls after our mortgage renewal deadline. He communicated poorly and untimely to our correspondence and did not live up to the services that he agreed he would help us out with. We would've been fine if he told us he wouldn't be able to assist us but he committed to and fell through on all aspects of his commitment.

Great staff. Was set up here with Evan to set up all of my Calgary banking needs. He went above and beyond to answer my questions and get everything to me in a timely manner.

Good customer services and nice employees

A visit here reminds me why I closed all my RBC accounts and no longer bank here. Had a bank draft for $3700 drawn on another RBC account from a branch in south Calgary and the petty officious clerks at the Beacon Hill branch said they couldn't cash it because it was over $3000. At least if they were friendly when they said no it would have been appreciated but no, they were miserable which as I had previously learned when banking there is the standard way of dealing with customers.

Good service

Josh is very knowledgeable and made the mortgage process quick and easy. He helped us get a mortgage several months before we thought we would be able to. We don't live in Calgary, but he was able to do everything electronically very easily. This was definitely the easiest mortgage experience we've been through.
