I called R&A movers last week for a quick urgent move . They were at the location even though it was very short notice . Very nice pleasant gentleman quick clean and affordable.

George Moving was very friendly, professional and receptive to the fact that I was in a time crunch for moving out. Debbie, the estimator, made the moving procedure as painless as possible; all costs were covered up front with me and the moving costs were much more reasonable than I thought they would be. The moving day went off without a hitch; everything quickly loaded and unloaded. I was concerned about some of my larger furniture pieces being able to be moved into an apt via an elevator but they somehow made everything fit. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who needs a cost effective and professional move and I would certainly use them again.

My spouse and I moved from Winchester to Ottawa and we were totally satisfied with the service we received from First Rate Movers. Their professionalism and attentiveness was extremely noticeable. It was a long day but not once did they complain or showed any signs of tiredness. FIVE STARS for these guys and their company!

Over all we were pleased with our move, although multiple items were broken or damaged. I was unaware that when our belongings left our house they would be moved again in your warehouse into another truck. I watched as they loaded and unloaded the trucks and was very happy with their care of our belongings, although I believe once at the warehouse is where the damage occurred. Boxes were clearly labeled fragile and or do not stack. I was told all the furniture would be wrapped and other pieces were going to be boxed as I did not have boxes large enough to contain some items ie lamp shade and light. One of our clothing containers was missing and the clothes were put into a box, I assume the container was broken. Once our belongings reached Florida a number of our teak furniture were chipped and or broken, this is very unfortunate as they cannot be replaced. I have an antique chair from the 1800's that the arm was completely broken off and put into the seat of the chair. 3 of my Pewabic pottery pieces were broken, these boxes read fragile ceramic pieces. The boxes were crushed probably due to stacking. I realize that things happen but would have liked a little more care with our belongings. As for the people I worked with Ben who quoted the job to the men who loaded and unloaded were wonderful. Sincerely Suzanne

Awful communication and service! Stay away from them. Delivered on the wrong day and we've been trying to get a receipt from them for almost a half a year now!
